It's difficult to catch it on screenshot because it shows up only for a second, but pretty often. And I wonder if random crashes happens because of this mod, or should I think it's something else? firefoxnew Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) The mod works fine, doesn't lag and I'm using the "with trees" one, the only problem is: sometimes it crashes but not when leaving stores or while loading another saved game, it crashes when driving around or when flying too high for example. Any solutions? EDIT: Those crashes happen when driving always around the same spot or location of the map. hlennarz Posted March 17, 2017 Share Posted March 17, 2017 How do I install this mod with the latest project 2dfx ? It hasn't got a seperate "ide_tweaker" or "flicker" file anymore. Does the Microsoft VC error happened before installing the mod or this occurs only after the mod is installed ? Try using loadmoder is way more easy. I don't know what 2dfx does in these days. Map is constantly loading/unloading with massive pop-in and pop-outs of objects. Some objects aren't loading at all. For example fences. I tried both with turning mipmaps on and visual FX to medium and mipmaps off visual fx low. No difference. gta3.img was rebuild. settings from the readme files applied to limit adjuster & ide tweaker. Intro cutscene (Francis Intl. Airport) doesn't load any map at all. Just characters. Same result both with manual install & modloader. Edit: I figured it out. The mod isn't compatible with the lastest version of Project2dfx. Any way to change the settings to make it work again ? Edit2: Figured it out. For anyone with the same issue, if you use IDE_DD_Tweaker.asi, remove the IDE tweaker section in SALodLights.ini. They conflict with each other.
