How come the 1st page says "13-17.02.2012" for Release Date; and ModDB, says 19th .. ?

 

Isn't that pretty obvious that he mistyped? Why he would've said that the mod will be available within few days if the release date would be after half years? dozingoff.gif

 

 

But, not so long anymore, hopefully ModDB-page keeps it's words and the mod is available tomorrow! smile.gif

Okay, I just found that Avery Carrington Sign needs a collision. If this will not be fixed, it will disappear. So I'm glad that I haven't rushed up.

Okay, I'm finished writting everything. I hope I haven't missed something.

 

One single thing bothers me right now is that look how much I had to write because Project Oblivion is involved, to let everyone know what they have to do. confused.gif

DON'T USE this mod for Srt3. It will f*ck up your entire game.

Because .Lod Mod is totally different made from the upcoming DLC for Srt3. It will mess up your game with white objects, etc. Plus Srt3 DLC has extra files.

 

Of course I will release both in the same.

Draw Sistance Settings: Don't think that if you install this mod, you will have a better change of playing the game much smoother with draw distance set to off because .lod objects are now changed with the same normal materials, being the same object, you will succeed. No at all, the game is still be affected by this setting, as everything you see from distance will fade away much quicker, getting nothing more than just the sky. So you better set this option to max.

* Options - Display Setup - Advanced - Draw Distance set to Max.

Oh my. Thank you. I really haven't notice that and could look ridiculous.

 

I made a test setup.exe and is 50MB from 174MB. Works fine and I will try today to make the right one. Tomorrow I will upload and when will be available, you know what to do. smile.gif

Okay, my answer will be kind of funny, but this is the actual mod for the default game, there are enough members in ENB that play the game with car mods and project oblivion or SA-MP, but nothing else.

 

The other one is addon that it will be erased and included in the final version when Srt3 will be finished[one big installer].

JF-Mir2, this is not for Srt3, you can double check that out if you read page one from this topic.

 

Now go and download from Srt3V1.7 Thread, the DLC.

I know, that's why I'm asking if I should only download the DLC or do i still need this mod to make the DLC work? Oh, and after downloading the DLC, am i still going to do the same instructions of this mod in install Oblivion? Sorry for asking too much. turn.gif

Interesrting mod you made here blitz, real pro stuff.

 

I was reading the entire first post and i came across this:

 

 

Vertex Night Colours. I'm sorry to say that the objects that I merged, don't have Vertex anymore. I tried a lot of settings to take back the default colours and I end it nowhere so I gave up. There aren't any options or visual settings in order to see their setup, so here I'm stuck.

 

I'm not exactly sure what you want, but my guess is you want to import NVC in 3ds max?

I have tool I used for IVSA that swaps the Day Vertex Colors with Night Vertex Colors.

There isn't any 3ds max script that imports NVC, so bascially what the tool does it removes the day vertex color and replaces it with the nvc, so 3ds max think it's importing day vertex, but you actually have night vertex.

 

If u need this tool to import NVC into 3ds max, just ask. smile.gif

I read your thread with Day/Night switch but isn't about that. 3DMax doesn't export the .dff with any Vertex color, day and night. I need to paint the entire object, but how can I do that, when I don't know the right colors to look exactly like in the game. If there are any settings or I need to go through some things in 3DMax in order to bring those back, someone please tell me, but no matter what, its too late as the mod is already released. I'm not going back, plus the objects that I merge are small stuff.

 

I'm sorry for any unpleasent writting, I just wanted to get out fast from this, to upload everything and finish.

Night vertex colors can be added with Zmodeler2.

That tool is called Prelit color.

It adds the night vertex color so in SA that object will be dark like it should be.

A little more explanation, I wasn't at your home to see how you have installed the mod.

 

 

Fix Fortcarson, I'm falling out of the ground, and I can run thru buildings...

 

Fort Carson doesn't have any problems as I haven't modify any object or collision in that location. I made test right now.

Stupid question .. Sorry; but its been a loooong day for me .. 2 hours sleep; 16 hour day .. Soo..

 

Do I install the 'Original LOD For Srt3' and 'Srt3 Lod Textures' folders as well.. ?

 

EDIT:

 

Well I've done something wrong .. Everything looks great.. But I get the 'white bug' from a distance; driving closer and I see the textures. So I've f*cked up something along the way .. As I don't see the LOD textures. Draw Distance is at max.

 

Everything Stock except for SRT3 1.7 + DLC LOD mod. Only folder I didn't install was the 'Original LOD for SRT3' and the 'Radar Map Mod'

 

EDIT2:

My bad; didn't copy over map files. Thought I had. All seems well from a quick test.
