zork824 Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Hello.I played SA a LOT in my Windows XP ( nothing has changed) and it worked well.I installed WIN 7 (but before I made a copy of my entire modded SA folder,Installed SA in win 7 and then pasted my previous folder in the new one,so I got every mod) and launched SA.But it runs aw 70-80 then 1 fps,again 70-80 then 1 fps.I can't play with this,I got sa retextured 3 it may be the problem?so,if is,how to uninstall it?I got 1 gb ram when I played sa on XP(I had 2 but 1 is broken) help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Girish Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Reinstall the game and delete the gta_sa.set file from the User Files folder. Make sure there are no leftover files after you uninstall the game though. You can also try running the game in Win 98 compatibility mode. 1GB RAM on Win 7 is not enough if you want to play with mods. I suggest getting some more RAM first and then install mods. eminem 2ka9 Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 1GB Ram isn't much tbh. I Have a windows 7 home edition and sanandreas works fine. I Don't see why u would even upgrade to windows 7 in the first place because windows xp was built to play all the old games like sanandreas. All you can do now is run the game in windows 98/me compatibility mode. Or go back to the previous version to windows xp.
