As a guy mentioned before, just a joke between the editors of the trailer, to make people think about it as well. 2. It's a sharp clue, GTA III will be somehow connected to GTA V. Perhaps, Claude will appear in GTA V like he did in GTA San Andreas. Even a main figure, even though I highly doubt it.. I hope there's a connection, I really like it. Say if the protagonist for GTA V is really Claude from the future. Think about it. When never saw his mouth move only heard his thoughts. I think the trailer biggest success was trolling most people in it first opening seconds that it could be Vice City. But there are also references to Vice in this trailer. They probably wanted a shot of the city skyline from a ground perspective at a distance (the trailer is all about showing the scale of the map and variety) and the car on fire is just there to give the shot something so it doesn't feel empty. Claude isn't going to make a reappearance, GTA III isn't connected to V, the game takes place LS, not LC, and this is a different universe than the other games. Anything else? Theres got to be at least some kind of connection. Its more than a coincidence that its the only time the wheather looks cloudy and depressing in the trailer similar to LC, infact I thought that was the liberty city from IV for a while until I saw the blimp in the background.
