bugoy
Hello! This is my first topic here. I am replacing the hidden vehicle FBI Truck with a School Bus, how can I disable this vehicle from starting Vigilante missions when entered, and also give it a proper working radio? And also, I want to replace the RC Cam with another Taxi, how can I make it enable Taxi missions when entered? Thanks...
Ashwin.Star
you should post this topic in coding area!
aStiffSausage
AFAIK, only way to do it is by modifying the main.scm, but you won't be able to use your previous saves after that.
Waltzing Mouse
You can use CLEO: 0459: end_thread_named 'IMPND_L' Replace "IMPND_L" with the appropriate thread name. Thanks to OrionSR for this snippet.
Deji
Try this... Disable 'R3' Submissions 0A8C: write_memory 0x48EE42 size 1 value 1 vp 1 Enable 'R3' Submissions 0A8C: write_memory 0x48EE42 size 1 value 0 vp 1 You can do it without altering memory by ending the 'R3' script. However, it will be much harder to re-enable the R3 script. The way to do it would be to get the proper SCM offset for the R3 script and create it with 004F or 00D7.. however, that method can cause crashes and/or odd behaviour if a different SCM is used without modifying the offset. Also, if the R3 script is ended by a CLEO Script, the game is saved and then the CLEO Script is removed (just one example, there are more ways this can occur), you'll be stuck with no 'R3' submissions (you'd have to create another script to start it again). Overall, this memory writing method is easier and less prone to permanent game f*ckups Edited January 18, 2012 by Deji
bugoy
I don't know how to edit SCM, is there an easier way?
