Tashan
Hello Making sure I have searched but could not make a proper category to post this subject asking under "Tech & PC" I have purchased 2 CD's of Audio Mixing and Sounds recording Software and comes with a variety of different music and sounds archives The Package comes with limited permissions but to that extent FULL COMMERCIAL USE to modify and use in my Project Presentation There are three archives (compressed files including Sound Files optimized for Dolby Digital Surround playback) with .sb0 (0 means Zero and not letter O), .sso streams and .ssb extensions. I googled a lot and over a couple of days but with no result how to extract these extension archives. Need help if any one aware to what these extensions relate and how can I extract the sound files from these extensions. The CD packs have no tools but plays them directly via software categorizing them with titles. The problem is I want to extract (permission granted by the software) and transfer to my Project Presentation Thanks. Quick help needed
Wolf68k
Is there an installer exe on the disc? It's like a propitiatory format that can only be used by that installer/file exactor. .CAB files, for example, are pretty common and some programs like WinRAR can open some for the most part they can only be accessed using the installer maker/compressor that created it. Tashan
Its a setup file for the software. I did check for the extra stuff but nothing could be related to extraction tools with proprietary version under Properties. If its a proprietary format how come the Software allows a commercial use? Neither Winrar or 7z and Winzip are able to extract. In some forums the members suggested for some hexadecimal changes to make it extract easily by winrar, don't know what does that mean though! Wolf68k
You to use the setup file to get to whatever is inside. And some of those files are available for commercial use. Meaning if you were going to make a national or world wide advertisement for some product that would be ok, but the ones for limited permission are meant for someone that's doing something to goof around for their own personal video something they might post on YT or whatever but not to be make money off of. I hope that made sense.
