gta_fan28
My fellow GTA fans, I know we're all excited bout GTAV, after the trailer there's no news or info ever release. My theory is what if R* intention not to tell any info bout this game just like in their interview in Max Payne 3 where Dan said it's their BIG MISTAKE to revealed some info in Red Dead Redemption before it release. Sorry I forgot the link. So my thought is what if R* intention not to tell any details bout this game, what if the only info they will give us is the release date of GTAV. And it's up to us to find out everything we need to know bout this game when we play it and experience it. It's just my theory so do u think it's possible that R* won't release any info bout this game? Share your thoughts and opinion.
HOTMILFDAD
They're going to give information. They are a game company after all. How else are they supposed to promote their game to magazines and such?
Vanzant
I actually wouldn't mind that to be honest. Going into a new game on a series I'm a fan of knowing nothing what is going to happen. On the other hand, Gaming magazines want to have screenshots and info so they can sell copies and lets not forget all the people looking forward to info before the game launches. How else are they supposed to promote their game to magazines and such? I think with or w/o info promoting this game, People will still buy this game. Remember it's GTA game not some typical games outder. And I notice that R* being too secretive on their games. Screenshot and trailer would be fine if they release it. But I'm talking about details and info bout this game. What if they don't release it?
HOTMILFDAD
it's only been 2 months -___________- If it was 6 months without info, I'd give you credit for posting this. But come on, 2 months
MiamiVice1984
"In Max Payne 3 where Dan said it's their BIG MISTAKE to revealed some info in Red Dead Redemption before it release." Then they wont make the same mistake twice. And that also means they wouldnt have announced V when they did unless they were certain it was the right time to do it for the release window. 100mL
We'll definitely get more info. After all we still do not know the protagonist. They always reveal what lunatic we'll be controlling. We'll see at least 2 more trailers and a lot of screenshots well before release. You can bet on it. What we won't be told is details about storyline or anything that may semi-spoil the gaming experience. Just have patience.
Slamman
With the trailer, over a minute, you've already driven a stake into your theory, but I also believe, Dan Houser said he jokingly didn't know what was in the pipeline for Rockstar following MP3, so I believe he's referring to GTA coming up next, or some BIG news, but before that I still think we'll see some gaming press news, it should happen SOON
Grand_Theft_Peanut
With Red Dead Redemption they pretty much released every bit of info about every aspect of the game! there were so many vids on youtube about each aspect and after watching them all it made me want the game sooooooo much more!!!! which was a good thing but when i went to play i thought i had ruined the experience but i was wrong, i still had plenty to explore and discover! i think R* wont release as much info as they did with RDR but i think they will just release misleading info as usual like the other GTAs.... More trailers that people can debate over and really good looking screenshots that dont look anything like the real game
BoringAdultWithAFatGirlfriend
as much as I hate it, the less info the better. the anticipation is half the fun.
Gangsta-NL
Yeah exactly. Dan Houser said it himself, its awesome if the players can explore the game without knowing details.
Mister Pink
I always wished Rockstar would just release the game with out any info. Playing III, Vice City and to a lesser extent San Andreas were all like that for me. Everything in those games was a new surprise for me to find out! bluetops
Their intention with GTA V is to make money, make the fans contented this time and for their marketing plan - as always. They will make the fans crave for more info and they will release info on the right time, and possibly,at the right place(some game convention or something). Can someone give me a link to this article? Thanks in advance. I'm sorry I just misunderstood what he said and I'm wrong and for that I apologize. He didn't say Big mistake it was lesson learned from RDR. In this rare interview, Houser outlines how the company makes its decisions -- from booting Max Payne into the future to deciding not to give players much of a window into its games prior to their release. He also discusses lessons learned from Red Dead Redemption and the creative bible for the Grand Theft Auto series.
