Or the bridges are closed because of terrorists in IV. In VC because of the storm if I'm not mistaken, it's been a long time. In SA, the corrupted cops will chase you. Before GTA IV was released, they already started working on GTA V. So they had plenty of time, so they better SF ancd LV. Yes, no excuse for not adding them. They seem to have the pretentious mentality that they are the best gaming company in the world, so I would expect nothing less from them. so you want it to be released earlier and with more content. nevermind the bugs that would be there if they were to shove in more cities in the game, on a shorter time frame. you have to be trolling, no one is that stupid. The game is probably done by now and is sitting on a shelf or in testing stages. ...right. anyways, you do realize that these games you play have stages of testing, and the more content you add in the more testing will have to be done, so that extends the development cycle and release, right? regardless, if you want more content, they're going to have to either create new technology, or use some shortcuts as the xbox 360, does not have the power to support anymore cities (that are populated as you would expect from a GTA game), without some major technical difficulties. that lengthens the time before release even longer to compare specs between an xbox 360 and current pc gaming - the 360's cpu is a 3.2 ghz triple core cpu, where as the gpu is roughly equivalent to a geforce 8800GT (for a comparison http://www.hwcompare.com/1460/geforce-8800...e-gtx-285-1gb/), however, the 360 doesn't support directx 10 like the geforce 8 series does, (http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/24/xbox-360-cant-run-directx-10-confirms-ati/) this is barely the minimum requirements of today's games such as battlefield 3, skyrim or the witcher 2. a summary: rockstar is dealing with, by today's standards, ancient technology and to get the game that you want, it will take an extensive time to develop and test to the quality that we expect to see. edit: SPOILER ALERT max payne 3 and gta are being worked on by different teams, in all likelihood. edit v2: I also forgot to add that the graphics card that I compared the 8800GT with, the GTX 285, is two generations old and the more current graphics cards the 500 series, blow both of them out of the water. GTA IV takes place in winter. Uhm, go play GTA IV, it takes place in Autumn. Winter is somewehere is November and December. LOL! Where are you guys getting all of this from??? There was never any mentioning of any season in the game, so... wtf... If that game is missing any of those cities, you should contact the retailer you purchased it from. GTA V is complete with whatever cities it has, because it is a totally different game. I remember when I had trouble trying to go to the second island in III. I tried doing stunts to across the broken bridge, I had iiiiit and felt to the sea. Damn fun was that. In IV, I was about trying to swim over to the next island, can't remember tho' I had been chased or not. But, any GTA I played was fun trying to across the bridges to the next cities.
