New Info or Surprise?

personally want as much as you guys want, but knowing games makers for a long time, and anticipated many many games in my time, I've learnt one thing -

 

"Good things come to those who wait"

 

So let's just wait. I understand we don't have much to talk about and what we do talk about becomes a wishlist, but I got a little hunch Rockstar will throw us off our chair the next time they release some information!

Possibly one of the best sayings ever, exercising patients is never a bad thing, rehabilitating patients is needed for some.

Some of those impatient bastards *cough Zee cough* need to learn how to wait, i am very patient, and i will wait until i need to, and ultimately i am going to always be happier because of this.

 

On topic: I voted, "Know the basics" i want to know a little more, the release date and well actually i don't want to know anything else, i would like it to be as fresh as possible, if new information comes out though, i don't know if i could avoid visiting the GTA V section of the forum, if i do, again it is all thanks to patience.

I voted on basic stuff as i'd like to know the things which will end debate like the protag, location etc, but suprise would definitely provide the best experience for me. I had played all GTAs except iv with literally no knowledge about them. So got a fantastic experience. Especially san andreas. I didn't know anything other than the protag being a black. When i came to know that san an is a state with 3 cities, the feeling was awesome. But it's hard to live like that now a days with internet advanced so much.

But i am realy waithing for is the website for V, hoping it will be like the IV website whit the blacked out map and all.

I wish they'd just release the game with no warning at we just got this one big surprise. Imagine the first trailer came out and it said in shops next week.

To be honest I cant wait for new information, this is my most anticipated game of 2012, closely followed by PS3 exclusive The Last of Us .

with too much info, a game became boring faster (like saints row third, for example), but no info at all could kill the hype, and made the fans angry...

 

and there's more: i like that R* do not want to spoil us the game too mutch, but we will find basic infos one way or another, because to create hype they must give information in some way BEFORE the relase... and thanks to internet, magazines, or even the back of the cover (in almost every GTA the back spoils the setting and the protagonist). there's no way to avoid this info before start to play GTA V, so why don't give us this basic informations and make us happy?

I usually base the the purchase of the game on what information is released so i want more information to see what the game would be like. Then again, i will probably buy it on the first day regardless because at the end of the day it's GTA, there has never been a bad GTA game and i don't expect there ever will be.

Honestly, I'd rather R* surprise me for the most part, but some things I feel like I need to know. I'd like to at least know the location, meaning the major cities in the map. Knowing who the protagonist is is a must. I'd like to see some of the new (or in this case, returning) features.

Personally, I'd really like to know more about the setting/location/map. That is my number one priority at the moment.
