Drax207 Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Hello everyone ! I have some problems while installing a skin for GTA 4. This one : http://www.gta4-mods.com/player/captain-am...-v10-beta-f9733 I tried several times and the game still crashes after loading. I tried with Spark IV, then Open IV, and it always crashed. And I do install it well, I mean, it's the only skin that doesn't work for me, and I'm used to playing with a lot of skins ... But this one is the only one which didn't work. So I checked all the files with Open IV, and I noticed that the .wtd files were compressed, and were the cause of the multiple crashes. Here's the playerped.rpf with Captain America's wtd and wdr files : http://s4.noelshack.com/uploads/images/182..._sans_titre.png you can see hand and head .wtd files, compressed, making the game crashes I guess, because for other skins, those files aren't compressed ... but .wdr just work fine. And I still got that damn "compressed", while, the other skins work perfectly ! So irritating xD Could you, please, upload the playerped.rpf with the captain america mod installed if it's not too much asked ? It would help me so much ... I don't know what to do anymore ! Ok, I've looked at this mod, and seems it's corrupted. Try to replace all files expect bad textures (look at screen below) perhaps it will work.
