Our community studied your script check and we've found some differences so we have some questions.

The original purpose for compiling this immunity list was to provide reference to System Error on which vehicles had the melee immunity. While I was compiling the list I decided to make notes on any immunities I could find. The list is compiled in the order that I found immunities by searching for "02AC: set_car". When I found something I would record the mission that contained the code. It was not always easy to identify which vehicle had the immunities applied; some mistakes are likely. I made little or no effort to learn when the immunity codes were activated. The list is mostly complete, but it would probably help if your coders would make their own lists using a similar strategy.

 

Being able to read the scripts is a long ways from understanding the scripts. The codes seldom run from top to bottom in an orderly manner; they jump all over the place. Some code segments never run. Sometimes it is possible to identify a code segment as an alpha code that was abandoned, or a debug routine the programer used for testing, but most of the time dead code segments look like any other.

 

In order to identify when immunities are applied I have found it useful to temporarily modify the missions in the scripts (make a backup of main.scm and script.img first). As long as the "main" section of the script and the other threads that are active in memory are not altered then modified scripts can run current game saves. Fortunately most of the immune vehicles are found in missions which are safe to modify. If I think I will be able to see the vehicle when the immunity codes are run I will place a car color code just before or after the immunity code. When the car suddenly turns black I know when the immunities were applied. Displaying a text message is an option if I don't think I will be able to see the vehicle. If a code runs in a loop, like when recording the player's car in Gray Imports, then adding player money is a good indicator.

 

Comments are offered below for some of the specified vehicles. Some have no comment because I don't have additional information. In some cases the vehicles had different immunities applied in different parts of the mission but I don't know if or when the alternate code is run. Hopefully the strategies suggested above can help you find more answers.

 

Wrong Side of the Tracks: Train and Carriages; 1, 1, 1, 1, 1

It looks like the immunities are applied to the train at about the same time that Smoke's car is created and you are given the order to go to Unity Station.

 

Races: unknown vehicles; 0, 0, 0, 1, 0

I have no idea which vehicles get the immunities or when. Presumably these are vehicles used in the race. It is very extremely difficult to tell what is going on in the racing scripts.

Reuniting The Families: Train; 1, 1, 1, 1, 1

 

End Of The Line (3): Train; 1, 1, 1, 1, 1

Can be found sitting on the tracks when taking Tenpenny's ladder truck to the El Corona garage.

 

Outrider: Rumpo; 0, 1, 0, 0, 0 (FP/CP)

 

Reuniting The Families: Sweet's Car; 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 (CP/EP/FP/MP)

 

Lowrider Game: Cesar's Savanna; 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 (we have BP/EP/FP/MP, not CP)

 

Have you meant "High Stakes, Low Rider" race mission?

This note came from Mission 9, Originally: Lowrider (Bet And Dance), name_thread 'LOWR'. I'm not sure why I thought this was Cesar's Savanna. I'm not seeing his identifying colors associated with the Savanna that gets immunities.

 

Robbing Uncle Sam: Patriots; 1, 1, 1, 1, 1/0, 0, 0, 0, 0 (changes quickly)

The vehicles are spawned and the immunities and a few other properties are applied. If the vehicles are not destroyed actors are created and placed in the vehicles, then the immunities are immediately removed.

 

 

P.S. I allow mission failure as my max. No suicides, cheats, 3rd party software and mods.

I made a beautiful list of 77 vehicles which are perfectly saved without all of this cool.gif

I hold the same standards for the collections that I save. If the challenge is interesting I will often make the effort to collect vehicles that require a suicide or arrest, but I don't save them. I hardly ever bother with a vehicle that requires button cheats to collect.

I have read lately that Tornado only spawns in Vagos trritory,

so is the Tornado Unique after all Vagos territories are conquered?

Yes, kinda.

But if you exploit territory glitch more territories will appear and civilians start riding in gang cars along gangsters

Current maximum if exploiting after 100% of territories is +11 new territories in LS, SF ad LV.

 

Without the Glitch Ballas' Majectic and Vagos Oceanic become rare

(Majestic still has a spawnplace under Mulholland Intersection and Oceanic spawns in beach areas and in LVA territories as a civilian car)

Tornado becomes very rare, but not unique

I suggest no - it can be obtained anytime without much problems and do not bear any proofings or special colours.

For me, cheats and mods are out of the question, and while I normally avoid being wasted/busted like a plaque, if there is no other way but a suside (all-proof Mothership), I can live with that. So far, during entire playthroughs, I accepted only one death - the Mothership - I guess the Firetruck is going to be the 2nd one, when I finally get over the fact that I have to return to the "home in the hills" save (very late I noticed that I have lost one car, at Fort Carson garage, during Vertical Bird suicidal.gif , for week I was ignoring GTA, I have to go so far back, I hate you San Andreas)

pomor, It's best to use all 8 Slots, or 7 if one of those slots are for Chain Game or S'N'Ping.

So best to do is check every eight saves all garages, before you delete one with all Vehicles in Garage if you know what I mean.

 

Anyways, is there a way to get CP Firetruck without being wasted during End Of The Line? Any way of doing that?

Like AlSar, Mission fail is my max, I want no Busts and Wastes in my save, No cheats hacks nor trainers,

I am done 98%, the remaining missions are Riot, Los Desperados and End of the line, I conquered all the Territories (Including Varrio Ones, which are currently owned by Vagos), and 2 in Las Venturas,

All Unique Jumps, Burglary Side Missions, and Beat The Cock triathlons, with all UC and uc2 vehicles,

And most proofed ones, edited Carcol.dat for UC uc2 Yellow Forklift.

I will explain in details once I upload to GTAGarage.

No one has discovered a method to obtain the fully immune ladder truck from End of the Line without a suicide but that doesn't necessarily mean it's impossible. Perhaps you can figure out something no one else has thought of yet.

 

Wanted level is disabled so you can't get busted; but that's no better than a suicide anyway. I think Sweet dies when the Feltzer explodes but just in case I pushed the wreck with him in it into the ocean; it didn't end the mission. I killed Tenpenny with a parachute; no change. Feltzer is already destroyed. Destroying the Ladder Truck in the garage doesn't end the mission.

Well, I tried everything, I couldn't get that Variate.

Could anybody confirm this, that you can get VCN News Van?

The VCN News van is not true. The logo never changes.

1. To get this vehicle we need a mission fail during the cutscene when Kane appears, and the only legal method to do so is destroying Admiral which we use to get away from the cemetery

2. The best method to destroy it - drop it into water (from Packer)

3. Packer as a player car disappears in 3 minutes 7 seconds after last leaving it

4. So we park it with a blue indestructible Admiral on it, calculating it to fall into water then

5. Wait 2 minutes 40 seconds and speak to Sweet

6. Watch the cutscene, wait for the mission's fail, then collect your lovely indestructible uc2 Admiral and enjoy

Any chance you tell me what is the colour of uc2,

and could you tell me the colour code (Number) for both of the colours?

uc2 here is '34,25,24 # 40 biston brown poly dark' (for me it looks like very very dark brown)

the first color is '63,62,69 # 25 shadow silver poly dark' which is available in Transfender.

Thanks mate, one that is what I wondered,

Since I left that Unique Vehicle out of my collection.

I will add it to carcol, for UC uc2 Yellow Forklift and uc2 Admiral I missed out.

By the way, is the Club from Key To Her Heart unique?

Since it's uc2 Black, is the one you obtain from Dates with Millie after 50%,

or towing it to garage if locked unique with the uc2 too?

I know there is no reward after 50% for Millie, you can date her 35% or kill her,

but I dated her 100% anyways.

Yep, Millie's car has uc2 in this mission only. Her Feltzer in two-timing date, or Club near her house - both do not have uc2.

What am I missing?

Looks like the RC Raider is pretty much a "trophy" as I suggested way back when?? I suspect it blew up in the video because it was flipped over/upside down?

 

Also should be noted - the video shows the player going BEHIND the Doherty garage after mission success, you hear the door opening as they drive past. A reminder that this is what causes garages to glitch, the most common glitch being lost vehicles.
