blowtorchrepair
As one who loves goofing off in the helicopter, and as one who thinks that R*, with TBGT, placed too much power in the helicopters, I have pondered how the game would be if aircraft could collide with power lines rather than just fly through them? This would add some challenge and a bit of realism to the game, and would add extra obstacles for battle copter pilots who fly close to the ground spraying rounds and rockets at others. What do y'all think?
TrialzGTAS
Wouldnt it be too much to add collision files and make the wires solid. THEY'RE SO MUCH wires in Los Santos (and surrounding areas) But I would love it though. (kinda being the devils advocate here)
DS 17
There haven't been any power lines in IV. There were only some in SA and I guess it was too much for the former hardware. But the wires in the trailer looked really "real". So I guess and hope they will have collissions. Will be nice if they are destroyable.

(kinda being the devils advocate here) Actually, you are right and wrong. you are right to say it would be too much to render the wires as solid objects but because there will no be that many inside the city as they use underground power lines now a days. However, in the country side, there would be more. But rendering them would be pointless as there is so much more open space.
skillz7855
Wouldn't it cause black outs in certain area though if the power line gets cut

The towers are solid, but the lines are not.

Here is a tip for you, try contributing to the thread instead of trying to police it... Yes I see the irony.

I just searched, AGAIN, for "power electric line", entire post, in GTA V forums, for the last 180 days, and I saw no thread titles related to this subject, other than the one I just created. Get a life, you'll be happier.
