texeon
Well it does, problem is when it has loaded it is innaccessible I use Windows 7, and when you hover over the icon to view the window, the little pop up shows it is there, however clicking it does nothing, maximising, minimising resizing, nothing makes it visible. This is though, it worked about an hour before. I've re downloaded, deleted ini, even found mapper V0.1a. Please help!

Jacko427
Richtclick on MEd.exe, goto properties and et the Compatiblity on Windows XP Service Pack 2. I had the same problem on Vista. Sometimes it's still crashing but very rare. Just make saure these crashes doesn't scare you. Restart MEd and you'll be fine.
texeon
Still not working, I've tried everything in compatibility mode. Basically, you open the app, choose the install you want to edit, it starts loading, gets to the end, completes, then nothing happens. If in windows 7 you over over the application icon you can see from the preview that it actually opened and all the functions, camera view etc. If you hover over it, it doesn't make it open on the whole screen like if you would for another application, and if you click it, nothing happens. Can anyone else help? I'd use IPL editor, or Mapper, but they're not stream lined, lack functionality and are unstable (mapper gets stuck in a render loop)
Jacko427
Do you know how to use MEd?
texeon
Of course I do, I've used it for months, and it was working an hour before this happened.
BLlTZ
You mean that Med Editor stays in taksbar and if you want to maximize to view the program, it doesn't show, but still remains on taksbar ?
texeon
Yes something like that, like it is permanently minimized, no matter if I bring it to front, resize, maximise, whatever, it won't show, but in the taskbar the preview show's it is running and what it looks like. I've tried all options in compatibility mode, even mixing and matching. No dice.
texeon
Solved! I killed explorer.exe and then in task manager I right clicked on MEd and clicked maximize, worked perfectly! Thansk for everyone's input! P.S. I also copied the program's dlls into System32, just in case it doesn't work for other people.
