Meezarawcks
They keep dogging us M.V.C .You\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re a mod so you\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re most likely on their payroll and thats fine. But please, Please don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t give me this crap about having other games and fans to look after. They have straight up DOGGED us gta fans for too long now and you can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t blame zee, JoanCrawford and myself for being pissed off. Thq can look after their fans why can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t rockstar ? I just feel gta is their cash cow these days. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'They\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll buy gta anyway so who gives a f*ck about the fans\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Max payne wont sell without shoving it down peoples throats so we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll promote that instead \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' thats r* thinking out loud This is exactly how I feel. Its not the fact that they havnt released information, but more of how they think of us. I just feel unappreciated as a fan. Like, cant they just show us that they care? Unappreciated how? Because they aren\'t revealing new information everyday about the game? The game looks significantly better and sees to be packing a huge punch. Seems to already be in line to be a great game and yes it is a cash cow for them so what? So Infinity Ward is allowed to make millions off of COD but GTA isn\'t allowed the same dollar value? Yeah, probably just me. It is my time of the month, so Im feeling quite emotional... lol. Understandable. Well not really since I don't really have a time of the month lol On a serious note though to everyone who complains like this. I come on this forum everyday and do get tired of the same old posts and not getting new info. But that is only because I visit this everyday and feel let down. That is my fault for checking the forums everyday. I know R* have a set pattern and should check every now and then. Now just come to discuss the game with other fans. But when I read posts like the above it's just aggravating. K done ranting lol
Eternal Moonshine
Dan Houser once said that they're being so secretive because they don't want to spoil the game for us. They kind of protect us from ourselves and our curiosity

''They'll buy gta anyway so who gives a f*ck about the fans'' ''Max payne wont sell without shoving it down peoples throats so we'll promote that instead '' thats r* thinking out loud Excuse me? I'm a mod because I was given an offer a few days after the trailer came out by a fellow staff member and I accepted it. I do it out of my own free will and I'm certainly not getting paid for it. As 74Duster said R* are a business. YOU and others may not give a sh*t about other games in the stable, but you make up the minority. I would agree had we rolled into 2012 without any sort of acknowledgement, but we all know GTA V exists and new info is on the horizon and you still act like you've been "dogged"? What's going to happen after the next batch of information? After 2 weeks you guys will be going back to bitching and moaning again until the next lot? I can understand if people are getting frustrated, but they should be mature about it. Not acting like children who don't get what they want. As I've always said I have no problem with someone sharing their thoughts, but I can't take them seriously when they come across as a spoiled little sh*t. Grand_Theft_Peanut
This Grand Theft Auto we're talking. THE biggest series, ever. People will buy a GTA title over CoD, any day of the week. Really? You think so? http://www.gamespot.com/news/gta-episodes-...oct-nov-6242842 it appears that Episodes from Liberty City didn't make the big splash many thought it would when it shipped on October 29. According to US sales figures from the NPD Group, the expansion had sold less than 160,000 units as of November 28, when the industry-research firm's November period ended. In its first three days on sale, the compilation sold under 60,000 units, with around another 100,000 units being picked up during the following four weeks. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/ca...-133682883.html Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3 has become the biggest entertainment launch ever with an estimated sell-through of more than $400 million and more than 6.5 million units in North America and the United Kingdom alone in the first 24 hours of its release Check out the sales figures. EFLC fails to sell over 160k in its first week, mw3 sells over 400 million on launch day. R* are slipping. They could have easily beat CoD if they actually had released a GTA game this decade, but as it stands there has not been a new GTA this decade. The Episodes is not a standalone game. Being a time exclusive for the 360 also hurt its chances to make a bigger splash. But yes, I sure do think so. GTA IV held the record for biggest entertainment launch ever, and I'm certain it'll take the record back off Call of Duty when V is released. It's nonsensical to compare an add-on with a full-blown new entry to a series. Rockstar are not slipping, pal. Poor logic here. Compare to GTAIV, or even LA Noire which sold abysmally then: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-06-...ow-our-estimate Zee you are an idiot, arguing something which is obvious. How can EFLC make more sales than COD when its only an Add on to GTA IV ANNNND only avaliable on 360.... COD was a new installment in the series u just can't compare it

Using Episodes wasn't the best example, but Zee is right, Black Ops 2 or whatever sh*t Activision comes out with this year will outsell GTAV no doubt, it just a more popular franchise. As much as I dislike COD and love GTA, it cant be denied that COD next will sell more, it's just what happens when you have a 4 year gap between two games in a franchise.
