If they had only sticked with the mid-July premiere, like season 4 and season 5a, we'd be watching episode 509 by the end of next week. Makes me kind of depressed. I guess this is a first world problem, lol

August 11th is a good date to premiere. Gives us something to look forward to sooner than GTA V.

If I watched the trailer, I'd kinda' expect what's coming at certain parts of the show.

Does anyone know where I can (legally) watch the "Chicks N Guns" scene found on the Bluray version of season 5? Haven't really upgraded to Bluray yet, so I'm sruck without it. If there's nowhere, can someone who's seen it give me a brief run-down please?

I'd like to know myself, I tried looking everywhere though and no cigar.. I might have to just buy it.

I just finished Season 4 of Breaking Bad, that was absolutely insane! It's hard to tell how it will end, will Walt die? That's just what I'm guessing. But is Walt

and his family really safe? Has he actually 'won' after the death of Gus?I see something terrible happening around the last 3 episodes. I can't wait for August 11th, I feel as if this show will end with a huge shock..

You should look for the first half of season 5 on AMC on-demand so you can catch up before the 11th.

With that said, a prequel is an interesting idea and I could see it working very well that way. We know Saul had the connection with Mike and Jesse knew about Saul in some way since he took Walt there.

That's the thing, when you compare the first season to the later ones in terms of excitement, it's a lot more mellow. When everyone is raving that it's the best show in the world and addicting, people expect it right from the first episode. The first season is good, even great, but when you go in with high expectations in the first episode I guess you can be let down a little bit. I watched the show when it originally aired back in 2008 so I've grown with it, but with the amount of hype people expect it to be guns blazing from the start.
