^ For sure. It's going to be sad knowing my favorite show is just done for. BB is the reason why I legit turned a TV on again for the first time in maybe 7 or 8 years. There just isn't anything else as interesting that would give me a reason to watch TV. All I have to look forward to after this is the second season of Hemlock Grove, which isn't as great but still amazing to me.:ph34r:

These little details that make Breaking Bad more interesting and unique. When Jack pointed his gun at the back of Jesse's head, Jesse looked up at the sky and saw two birds flying together. I wonder if this has some metaphorical significance. It's like the two free 'Walt and Jesse' who used to cook meth in this area. You can say that it completes the intro flashback scene in which we saw more of what happened between the two during the first cook, and then they disappeared and the shootout scene appeared.

Yes that whats what will happen in next episode as I stated above. I dont know who will destroy Walts house yet, lets discuss that and come up with nice theories about it :)

For some reason I am pretty sure that Aryan Brotherhood will destroy Walt's house. Who else could do that? Walt is gone, so I don't see SWAT or someone else storming the house.

how can people still like Walt?

the guy is a f*cking calculated pshychopath lunatic.

the way he just told them to kill Jesse and went on bragging about murdering Jane was f*cking cold man cold as f*cking ice.

Because he is one of the greatest characters in television history. And he wasn't bragging about it.. he just couldn't let Jesse die not having told him. I found it really ironic that the first thing Walt did after the first cook was call Skylar yet if he had've called her right after the shootout none of the subsequent stuff would've happened since he could've just told her to shut the carwash and go home then the family could have run away together and he could have told her what really happened.

But they have nothing on Walt anymore. The deal between them is done since Jack and Walt agreed that they're square. Jesse's confession tape is in Hank's house, so I don't find a reason for them to turn Walt's house into a wreck.

sh*t man, Ozymandias broke the record for the highest rated TV-episode on IMDB. A staggering 9.9 out of 10 with over 3500 voters as of now.

R.I.P: ASAC Hank Schrader :(

god damn what an incredible show.

so Walt took up Saul Goodman's disappearing act.
the guy in the van @ the end of the show is obviously the guy who was going to give Jesse a new identity and help him vanish.

at this point I have to speculate that Walt is gonna' try and use his anonymity to simply become his family's guardian angel, living out his days avoiding the law and watching out for Skylar and the kids. he said that he still had things to do before dropping off Holly and taking his new identity.

he's likely going to war with the Neo Nazis.
the flashforward scenes from the beginning of the season might indicate how Walt has been hunting down the Skinheads to get his money back (to send to his family) and exact vengeance for Hank's life. he should probably also try and save Jesse from captivity.

It's really interesting to read that speculation and actually think a little about it. The fact that Walt has now basically lost everything and how we're going to see him cope in life in the next two episodes as this angry man with a motive for blood lust. It's going to be really cool seeing the drastic change of Walt next week.:ph34r:

It doesn't look that you're serious, but anyway, Jesse is a dead man walking. The Nazis will use him for one cook or more until they know the secret ingredient for a pure blue meth product so to speak. Letting him go isn't an option since he knows everything and they still have a deal with Walt to get rid of him. His role has ended and the rest of the story should focus on the family.

The whole 'Walt will comeback to save Jesse' is over the top. Walt has developed a complete hatred toward Jesse and his final speech with him about Jane was to get him to break down emotionally. Jesse was the reason for this. If he never told anything, nothing of this would have happened as Hank wouldn't have any evidence to pursue Walt. In Walt's mind, Jesse killed Hank and shredded his family.

I couldn't believe that i have invested more time and interest on a TV show, but it really paid off in Ozymandias.. Amazing is the right word. Plz give another Emmy to Bryan Cranston , he deserves it.

Walt did fall like the great king Ozymandias... In the poem, whatever the king created is gone in the time...

whatever that Walt created with all his effort it disappears in time.... Money, Power, and Family....

I really like the way when Walt is calling his home by knowing that COPS are after him and listening and making him look himself is to blame for everything. He gives and gives for his family, that is why i still vote for him. Jesse or Hank does not deserve this. But the story must go on.

I predict as much as everyone does...

1. Poison for Lydia,

2. M80 for the Neo-Nazis

3. Death for Walt in Jesse's hands.. (this one is just me)

Holy cheese butter and toast with cream sauce that was one tasty episode.

Teaser

When I saw the flashback to the cooking days. I thought great! One last reminisce of the good ol’ days. I can see that the Aaron and Bryan Cranston had to revert back to their old character mind-sets’ and even their physical appearance for that scene. Although Jesse seemed fuller in the face after five years ha-ha.

Loved the fadeout/ins of Walt standing on the craggy rock as it was really poignant. It really brought home that it was just that a distant memory. It was like the very rocks themselves having seen these sins so long ago had to finally speak its own guilty conscience. Then afterwards it could at last let go.

Not sure what the point of the scene or what the writers were trying to say but I am glad for it anyway. Was it because that was his first lie? How does it tie into the rest of the episode?

Well as expected Hank died. We all expected it since last week of course but seeing it happen was still unpleasant. What l did however find touching was despite Hank’s bitterness towards Walt for everything he’s done to him and his family he still complimented him. I didn’t even gasp as the gun shot clattered across the landscape.

I and my brother just traded looks with a “yep that did just happen!” look. I am still rooting for Walt in this and have been since Ep 1. I mean he’s not all bad,

he tried to save Hanks life.

My only gripe here is how did Jesse have time to dig a small pit within the space of less than five minutes to hide from the neo-Nazis? He’s also in a prone position which would make it even more difficult. Seemed a stretch. And also the fact that none of the Uncle Jack’s posse would see him hiding under the car? Minor issue nevertheless.

Is it just me or did Walt, when confessing about Jane, seem to feel bad then it turn to spite. And why didn’t attempt to confess to him

before Uncle Jack was about to break the glass bong? Don’t get Walt’s motivation there.

Walt Junior acting

How on earth can Skylar plead to Marie that Junior stay in the dark any longer as to what’s actually going on?

Doesn’t she know there’s only 2 episodes left? How much breakfast can Junior consume before he goes crazy. Holy waffles and corn come on Skylar.

Todd is weird but likable!

The Jesse cement prison wall-torture scene could have been straight out of Homeland. I don’t even watch the show. But it sure looked like it could have come from there. Um anyone else find unnerving that Todd can go from being a mannerly young man assisting a lady, offering condolences to Walt and then go into sadistic torture mode? I think there’s a reason they didn’t show it because they want us to like Todd still and I do. So Todd will have Jesse teach him the blue-formula and once the purity is up to 90% its goodbye Jesse I take it?

RJ Mitte tried really hard in his scene but it just came across as funny and a little overacted. I don’t blame him at all though he hasn’t had chance to work on his acting skills what with the writers making him use a spoon and fork most of the time.

The whole knife was scene was grand. The fight was awesome I was grinning with glee. Junior calling the police was fantastic. Walt taking Holly was even better. Skylar running into the road was great. Nothing bad here whatsoever.

Didn’t catch that Walt was saving Sky at all the first viewing with the phone call, man I am dumb how could I miss that? But how can anyone hate Walt; he’s done everything for his family. Anyone that wants Walt to not receive redemption or at least a good death is crazy. He clearly didn’t want Hank to die and was willing to give up his money for him. And even though Skylar attacked him he still saved her ass by not implicating her.

Walt I have the utmost respect and empathy for you.

Also nice ending Walt taking the get out of jail free card. That’s one ‘Chekov’s gun’ down, now it’s only the ricin, the M60 and the revolver left to go. These weapons have to be used right?

Right?

Stray stuff:

I love that baby Holly she's cute.

The deserts of Albuquerque never look ugly

Glad to see another montage; Walt pushing the barrel.

Cant wait for next week.

Powerful episode. That was truly amazing. The writing behind this is just so god damn epic...

Prediction: Jesse is going to either kill or pursue Walt's family in some way. He's captured as of now, but if he were to somehow escape or negotiate a release (I doubt), I can imagine him putting a bullet in Walter Jr.

6.4 million viewers tuned in to see Ozymandias. That's just amazing and a new record for Breaking Bad. Just to think that season 5a never even reached 3 million viewers. And Ozymandias now has a pefect 10 rating on IMDB. Haha, first time I ever see that. sh*t, the 9.9 rating it had a few hours ago was also the first time I ever saw that, but now it climbed up to a perfect rating.

normally I would agree with you.

but Steve Buscemi might have something to say about that...

honestly though, Dean Norris could just as easily win for Lead Actor as Cranston at this point.

Hank became a bona-fide legend in the last 2 seasons.

I'm really confused, and I'm seeing this everywhere.

Why is Jack and his gang referred to as "Nazis?"

The Swastika tattoos probably have something to do with it.

To be honest, I never noticed tattoos on them. I'll have to look next week.

Well that episode was unexpected....

I am certainly glad that they didn't chicken out and spare Hank. But what now? Is Walt on the run? His family knows his secret, and the cops know he's some sort of criminal but is he known to the world as Heisenberg yet? What will he do now? Are the neo-Nazis going to hurt Andrea and Brock? Marie maybe?

Too many questions.

But what an episode...everyone really pushed their acting capabilities

I just watched the new episode. I don't even know what to say. That was probably the most mind blowingly good episode of any TV show I've ever seen. I mean, it takes years of build up. Years of caring for these characters, and watching Walt slowly turn from a good guy to an evil monster. But in this episode, everything just popped. All the tension, all the character development, all of it exploded into a rain of emotion and finality.

My only guess for the rest of the season,

Walt goes into hiding. Finds out there's some new blue meth on the market, finds out that Jesse is still alive, and goes after the nazis, the meth, his money, and Jesse.
