guib
I always played when I was little on PC, I tough it was the best game ever because you can jump, move and kill robopirates But, some levels were really scary, and had these scary chickenzombieghost things or scary one eyed monsters who were trying to eat you , so I was so scared of those levels that I never would do them, until I was a certain age Really, it had an awesome soundtrack, easy game play and just a lot of action! Gosh, I loved playing that game...

Got every NFS game for the PS2 but nowadays they're awful. They were nothing special though, the game I suppose I grew up with was the Ratchet & Clank series, which I would still be playing if I hadn't chose 360 over PS3. yaay you played RC too ? awsome .look on youtube for Ratchet and clank future walk trough , so you can still whitness how it ended with them ratchet and clank was my first game , i had every f*&king game of them + the PS3 games aswel

DEALUX
I had an NES clone before I got into PC gaming. The first PC games that I played were Hercules, NFS II, Delta Force 2 and Quake 2 (lol, what's with all the 2s). Marlowe.
I think I had a Nintendo 64 when I was like 4. But I mainly remember growing up with a PSone; playing Driver, Gran Turismo, Crash Bandicoot and Wipeout. f*cking loved Wipeout, man. That game was so fly. Unfortuantely, I was too young to have played MGS or Resident Evil. That fact always eats away at me. One day I have to buy those games just to see what magic I missed out on. I also owned a Gameboy Color. Pokemon Gold was the game I had, and I played the f*ck out of it.
Girish
Does anyone remember one of these? I sh*t you not, that was the only thing I had during my entire time at school and I played the sh*t out of it. I did get one of those Mitashi video game consoles but that didn't last long as I got a PC a year later and I've never owned a console since. darthYENIK
My brothers (7 and 8 years old at the time) and I (3 years old) got an NES for Christmas 1988. They didn't let me play much, but I eventually bugged them enough to get in some time with Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt. P.S. that was the best Christmas of my childhood. I got the NES, and both the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and firehouse playset.

That was actually the first console (if you can call it that) that I had. I wonder if I can still find these somewhere, for old times' sake. SmC12
PS1, Gameboy Advance (it was so awesome in its time, I had pokemon *insert colour* and some stupid Looney Tunes type game), PS2 (GTA VC, SA, LCS, III, Gran Turismo, COD 3, Terminator etc.). Most memories are on the PS2 when I fell in love with GTA and basically stole the PS2 and GTA III from my dad when I was like 8, he never played it anyway so at least I actually appreciated the awesome game that it was. I used to get really excited playing III for the first time, it was just so amazing. Though I do remember the awesome PS1 and it was great playing various fun games I can't remember except Pacman. My cousin had a GameCube but I only played it a few times so don't really have any memories of that. It's really weird when you look at how consoles have progressed through the years, they all had something awesome about them. Now I have Xbox 360, Wii which isn't mine and I never use, and I'm slowly getting into PC gaming.
Punk-in-Drublic
Sega Mega Drive, PlayStation & PlayStation 2 were the consoles I used to play as a kid, can hardly remember playing on the Sega though but I fully remember getting the PS1 in either 1997 or 1998. I never owned a Nintendo 64 but a lot of my friends did and I used to play on their N64 quite often. Oh and I had a Game Boy Colour too, but after that I was never a fan of hand held games. Cheat
I pretty much grew up with the Xbox and the PS2. I remember playing PS1 as a kid, like before third grade, but my first own console was the original Xbox and it was pretty much that and the PS2 for me. Of course, Game Boy and Pokémon on the side. Alick
I grew up with a Sinclair Spectrum ZX and Attic Attack, I also had a Sega Mega Drive II, I must have spent the majority of my childhood playing Sonic 2 and Taz. I also remember my Dad having this old computer which had a game where you would battle a Witch (you played as a kid on it) but can't remember what the game/computer was called. Then I moved onto a PS1, and eventually a PS2. I also had a few Gameboys over the years, I think I still have my Color.
K^2
I had a NES clone, but mostly it was the x486 with MSDOS 6 and later Windows 95. I grew up with PC gaming, and the first console I bought was PS2 to play San Andreas. Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns. 4 Bagger
I had a Sega Master System II when I grew up, the model with Alex Kidd built into it. I spent so much time on that game, and never beat it until recently. Even at 21, I found the ending fickle, frustrating, unfair, harsh and incredibly difficult if you didn't know what you were doing. It's a good job the controllers were wired because I could see many a kid throwing theirs at the screen only for it to bounce back and hit them right in their chubby 1994 faces. I also had Tommy Boy (something about a kid with a semi-automatic shooting spaced out flying egg men) and some odd racing car game where you start off as a motorbike and "evolve" into a fighter jet as pieces attach themselves onto you. Aaah those were the days. Alex Kidd was awesome.
Bernard Jazz
When I was about 5 or 6 years old I used to use the hell out of an old BBC Micro, I only had one game called Imogen. It was quite brutal, you was only allowed to change forms a set number of times throughout the entire game. If you reached that limit then you were eternally buggered and had to start again. Considering it was made in the 80's the game was extremely fluid, the jump mechanic was decent and the puzzles upon reflection were pretty damn decent. There's even a remake for Windows. Dillinger8
Started with a gifted NES at the end of it's life cycle, up until then I had played my cousins Duck Hunt with light gun and was instantly a gamer for life. I got about 100 bucks on my 6th birthday and used it to buy myself a Sega Genesis with Sonic 2 included, I'd rent every game with a cool cover and I first started building a collection of games either from older cousin's donations or saving money up for special games (MKIII). All I wanted during the N64/PS1 days was either one but I ended up getting a PS1 one christmas with Parappa and The Lost World game, instead of buying all my games I was collecting lots of demo discs just to try out each different game like a obsessive compulsive. The last phase of my growing up phase was during the PS2 days, I couldn't ask for a better system honestly. I could watch DVDs and play Megaman Legends 2 (PS1 game, I know) if I wanted. I felt free at last, no longer bound to a title of "child's toy" I felt like the rest of the world made sense finally. I couldn't ask for more. trip
Ok ok ok...let me old man this up a little bit. I grew up during the pioneering time of video game entertainment. I spent my time in the pinball arcade and then games like Brick Out and Space Invaders showed up in the corner of the arcade. Naturally we had a Pong console as our first family console. After that I had the ever famous Atari 2600. I was playing games like Test Drive on my x86 PC but eventually got a NES. My wife(then gf) pretty much took over the NES. We also ended up with a Sega Genesis that I never got a chance to touch too. NES. Even with all of the improvements made in technology since then, nothing can ever match it.I'm going to politely disagree. Go back before NES to the arcade games that inspired allot of NES game. Nothing can match where it all started My crappy games at MyCrappyGames.com Free copy of Save The Puppies and Kittens
