Which leads San Diego, for example, to be a more plausible possibility than previously used cities. Not to mention the towns from GTASA. No, San Diego is a bit big, hun. Just another bit of over analyzing pulled from the debut trailer and now it's attracted even more genetic deficiencies that want nothing more than San Andreas 2 with polished graphics. Look at the press release... "Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created." Now let's narrow that down... "Los Santos and the surrounding hills, countryside and beaches." To me, that's pretty self-explanatory and doesn't leave a lot of room for interpretation. Just another bit of over analyzing pulled from the debut trailer and now it's attracted even more genetic deficiencies that want nothing more than San Andreas 2 with polished graphics. Look at the press release... "Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created." Now let's narrow that down... "Los Santos and the surrounding hills, countryside and beaches." To me, that's pretty self-explanatory and doesn't leave a lot of room for interpretation. The average person is already going to bitch that A. It's San Andreas again B. CJ's not in it C. It probably doesn't focus on the hood Now add that it would only be one city and I think enthusiasm for this game series would plummet. Try telling the average joe GTA V has planes and the first thing they say is, "So so did San Andreas." Say it has animals they'll say, "So did RDR". The list goes on and on. The only way there isn't at least one major other city in this game, is if Rockstar is following a sh*tty marketing strategy of raising expectations past what they will provide. So if he is telling the whole truth and it is Los Santos and countryside then why would he say he has to be careful? He said that because there is more to the map than what they have stated and they want to keep it a secret until the next trailer. This will be exciting. Wasn't the whole point of this new generation was to do "proper" versions of the cities? Fans got excited once at the announcement (since we had been waiting a long time, I guess nearly all of us were satisfied with the trailer), if they surprise us with two more cities, fans will get excited a second time. Now I do realise that as of right now we're likely to have only LS as a major city, but we can't rule out SF and LV completely (espacially after the latest interview with the evasive answer regarding the location) You mean the people who told us that LCS and VCS would never get released on PS2, that they didn't have anything regarding V one week before the announcement and that TLAD and TBOGT were exclusive to the Xbox 360 can't lie to us? He said that because there is more to the map than what they have stated and they want to keep it a secret until the next trailer. This will be exciting. These basically sum up what I've got to say. Also, I don't think R* would want to spill out everything they've done regarding the map in their 'most ambitious' game ever that too with map being one of the more important parts of a game like GTA, that too int the very first trailer. It doesn't mean it'll be SF and LV, but their probability of existence is more due to their association with LS in the past and the tight association of the 3 cities in fans' brains. One of the best things in past games is that it feels like you explore anything and everything because of the way it is layed out. After reading through your post I built a spaceship and went to another planet. Pure example of someone missing out on what was officially announced and changing it into something that makes them sound right. You also missed the part where R* said and officially announced IN A RE IMANGINED SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. Its really not that self explanatory... Just because R* announced its a RE IMAGINED SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA not true to life Southern California. Last time R* didnt announce any RE IMAGINED STATES they just called it San Andreas what is it now San Andreas as stated on license plates in the trailer. R*s RE IMAGINED SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA IS!!!
