Djsteelerz
SOLVED! Alright, so I'm trying to install this mod, the Left 4 Liberty one. It is ofcourse a .net script so it requires ScriptHookDotNet. But for some strange, unknown reason, my game fails to recognize the dotnet.asi and load it. i.e. the console won't open, mod initializing commands do not work, ScriptHookDotNet.log won't come up, etc. I have everything installed as I saw needed: GTAIV Patch 1.0.7.0 Microsoft .Net Framework 4 Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x86 Here is my directory if it helps at all: http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l507/Djsteelerz/gta4.png I've tried using different ASI loaders, they each failed to work. I've done clean installs of everything multiple times, no dice. I even contacted the creator of the mod for help, and after all of his suggestions, he absolutely had no clue. But it isn't just his mod, it's any .net mod. Here's my computer specs if of any use: Intel Core i5 2500K Quad-Core 3.3GHz nVidia 9800GT 1GB 8GB DDR3 RAM Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Thanks in advance for the assistance Edited January 4, 2012 by Djsteelerz
jitsuin
i think your bigger concern is that pc warning message D: jk are u using scripthook.dll 0.5.1.0? and shdn 1.7.1.7 Beta? i hope u r using wrong one because i have no clue if u r doing everything right, hopefully it is because u r using wrong version. Your game directory looks fine. Try dsound.dll since u have 1.0.7 and u may want to go online Edited January 4, 2012 by jitsuin
Djsteelerz
Oh my god! You may have been joking when you said it but you helped me fix it! In the warnings was a bunch of stuff ready to update, which included things dealing with the Redist. and Net Framework! Updated, restarted, and it worked! Thank you so much man!
