arielnmz
Well, I've posted this before here: Previous Post But I didn't obtain a solution... The thing is: When I apply a velocity to a car, it doesn't do anything, it just moves on its way like if it's attached to the road (like a train), but if the car is wrecked, has collided or has been affected by a explosion, it now moves normally... Like SilentPL said on that topic, I'm sure it's something of the game's traffic engine, but I wasn't able to find a memory address related to the traffic or the roads (other than mission paths), and this opcodes didn't help anything: 068B: set_car [email protected] all_disembark05EC: release_car [email protected] from_path06C5: release_car [email protected] from_path01C3: remove_references_to_car [email protected] Is there a way I can "detach" the car from the road and make it move normally..?? aStiffSausage
Every vehicle generated by the game-engine itself (not through scripts etc.) are going to be glued in the ground until they get that little impact from the player. And I don't think it's wise to disable the traffic and generate it with a script, as it would require really complex script. Though, there's a mod made by HippieCommunist (and later improved by ToonSkully) which picks random car within 60 meters of the player, removes it and generates new one though script, with same color, same angle and speed and so on. It has it's bugs, but it allows you to control the traffic with the script you described in the other topic. It also fixes the bug that some modded vehicles have, that the suspension is too high when NPC's drive the car but when player drives the same car, suspension is fine. EDIT: Forgot name and the link for the mod... Here you go! Edited January 4, 2012 by oksa8

arielnmz
Another thing..!! how do I "lock" an animation on a specific frame..?? I've used "set_animation_paused" and "set_animation_progress" (this before the first one, and using only pause too) but they don't work... The anim just continues until its end
