Of course that would be fun but no way near reality ... that won't happen, forget it. NextGen consoles are far from being a main target for companies that wanna sell a lot, mark that, with the economic crisis you think lots of people will waste 500€/$500 or whatever in a new console at launch for a game? wallis Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 No. Playstation 3 can play PS1 and PS2 games, right? I'm sure PS4 will be able to handle all the previous PS games including GTA5 on PS3. And even if it won't, people won't exactly throw away their PS3s out the window as soon as they purchase PS4. People will keep it I'm sure. he means: what would happen if V was on PS4/720? would ppl buy a new console to play V? No. I wouldn't. I bought a PS3 only because IV came out and I assumed that there would be at least 2 or 3 full GTA titles released on this console. GTA is the only game I really play. [i'm 36] I'm not much of a gamer except when it comes to GTA. I'd be pissed off big time if I only got 1 full GTA title for my overpriced PS3. [$800 in Australia in 2008] I won't be buying a PS4 reguardless. But for younger ppl who play lots of games, they'd probably buy a PS4 anyway, reguardless of any GTA titles being available.
