Story

Sgt. Mario Ramirez had been in training for 2 years to become apart of one San Andreas' most elite military organizations, the A.S.O.T. (Advanced Special Ops Taskforce)

Through the mud, sweat and tears, he received his call up to join the A.S.O.T at the age of 20. His call up was at the best timing, as Central Las Venturas was under repeated attacks by a Russian terrorist organization, attempting to infiltrate the population and claim Central Las Venturas as a new "republic" territory for the Russians.

Sgt. Ramirez will be alongside Second Lt. Terry Robinson, Lt. Gareth "Gaz" Harris and Captain Victor "Ghost" Popovic in an attempt to neutralize a major threat that could potientially eliminate an entire race!

You will play as Sgt. Ramirez, fighting your way through Central Las Venturas with your unit to end this terrorism movement once and for all! You'll work your way from an oil rig right through to the abandoned airstrip in Verdant Meadows, collecting intel and discovering secrets that'll change the face of this storyline. Can you be the one to save Las Venturas, and potientally all of San Andreas?

This is a map of the location in which this on-going war is taking place. It's taking place in desert-like terrain, similar to terrain in war places such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

Missions

Act I

Mission 1 - Operation: Tango (W.I.P)

Now, before anybody starts stereo-typing me, thinking because this is my first post so I couldn't possibly know anything, I've been using DYOM for about a year now. I know all the basic knowledge required for creating proper DYOM missions. Depending on the feedback, I intend to keep this storyline going to three acts, so please give me a chance to show my mission creating skills.

Thank you GTA Forums community.

Well, for a new person here, I have to admit your post is well planned (format and the rest) and that the plot of the story is interesting. I'll give it a try when it's released. wink.gif

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback! This has really given me a big push! icon14.gif

I've finished the walkthrough for the first mission entitled "Operation: Tango".

Operation: Tango (Spoiler)

You'll start off at the abandoned airport, crouching behind cover. It's an all out war! There's heavy fire, explosions, crashing helicopters, basically World War III at its peak. With you is your unit, Terry, Gaz and Ghost. Your objective is too just pretty much kill as much hostiles you can through all the chaos and mayhem. Now, after you've killed as much enemies as you can, you'll run into a hangar, where you'll be exploded by planted bombs.

Basically, that's the first mission. It might not sound like much but trust me, the mayhem will be huge! Constant explosions, rapid fire everywhere! A very similar environment to one of the last missions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, when you're running through the airport after you were betrayed by that commander. (Forgot his name tounge2.gif )

So really, this is kind of like a sneak peek of the last mission. Then it'll transition to like a "3 days before..." moment where you'll play from the beginning. Hope you like the sound of it! lol.gif

Yeah, they are. blush.gif

I really wanted to give this game a CoD kind of feeling to it, without exposing too much.
