Taxi Problems

Hey!

 

So I just installed a few mods to my GTA IV game from steam, but when I started to play GTA after I install the first person mod my saves were gone and I was forced to make a new save. The problem has also blocked my use of Taxis, my action key it set to, 'E' but it won't allow me to hail a taxi nor will it allow me to get in the back, when I hold down the get in button, 'F' he just jacks that car.

 

I read something about save files becoming corrupt and causing issues, is this the case? If so how could I fix it?

 

Do you think it's a mod problems or something?

Im not sure what happened to your save games but the reason you cant hail cabs is you must get to a certain mission in the game to unlock the ability. Also if you installed xlive your game will load save games from

(for Windows Vista) %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\

(for Windows XP) %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\

 

So your old save files will be in the original location!
