Rhoda
This is probably going to get a lot of funny looks, but I'd attempt to return the wallet, money and ID intact. The money was never mine, it isn't like I've earned it and I've lost it again. If I was to keep it, I'm ruining someone else's day (or week, depending on how much we're talking) and I wouldn't be able to enjoy the money. I don't have many morals, but I often think how hollow and gutted I'd feel if I lost, say, £500 down to pure accident. I'd like to think that while there's a lot of sh*t that goes on out there, one action can make someone think it isn't so bad. I have my job and that's where my money comes from. Honestly, it'd be reward enough knowing they have it back. That is, unless, they're a complete c*nt, in which case I'd keep it and blow it on cocaine and hookers. So if we're sick of talking about wallets, how's this: Would you be willing to spend a night alone in a remote house that is supposedly haunted, just for the sake of it? You know nothing of the house, other than that - no history. There is no electricity though there is running water and other utilities, and you can bring your own flashlight and/or lantern and such. The nearest neighbors live 5 miles away.
Marlowe.
I keep the money, because I'm an asshole, but I send the wallet and its contents (sub the money) back to the owner in an attempt to gain back the karma I lost stealing the money. But she didn't knew I was scared so I just man myself up and calmly led her through the house. You have no idea how fast my heart was beating throughout that walk. So yeah, I wouldn't do it alone because I myself am a pussy. Will do it with a girl since I can...uh... transfer my fear into her I guess?

Pansy.
No I wouldn't because ghosts aren't real and it'd be a complete waste of time. Unless it was a bet.. for someone's wallet... I'm just hoping many people have tried and left their wallets behind.

Menaced
In response to the OP's scenario: If the wallet belonged to some rich, pompous f*ck who lived in a mansion and had a ferrari parked out on the driveway, I'd make off with the cash, and perhaps return the empty wallet just to be cheeky. But if the wallet belonged to a family who were struggling financially and really couldn't survive without the money, I'd give it back, without a shadow of a doubt. If I was in their shoes (which I pretty much am, just for the record) I'd be majorly pissed and upset if some sket had made off with the only money that was keeping me going. As for Craig's scenario: On my own? No f*cking way; nothing scares me more than the paranormal. If I could take somebody else with me, I'd probably manage it, but I'd still be edgy as f*ck. I'm a big believer in the paranormal, mainly because I think it makes the world a more interesting place to live. I'd go there, take a f*ckload of photographs and consider it a great story. Hell, I already spend a lot of spare time traipsing round odd, spooky areas for the fun of it. Like I said, it makes things more interesting. The fact that it's all a bunch of crap is completely irrelevant.
Brown Sugar
I would do it alone if there was something up for grabs, something to make it more worht while, but since you get nothing for it then I wouldn't do it alone, I would do it for nothing if I wasn't alone however, it's funny how the presence of one other person, not even someone you would rely on for portection in a situation like this, would be enough to make you change your mind. I would definitely choose Derek Acorah if I could go with anyone though

Marlowe.
Is the house actually haunted, or only rumoured to be? Or is it a Scooby-Doo type deal where there's an old man with a mirror, some sheets and a box of matchsticks haunting it to keep tresspassers away from his treasure? I'll stay, just for the Scooby-Doo possibility.

I would have done it if I could bring friends there with me. Next: What would you have done if you stabbed a man in the stomach in self defence (after he tried to stab you). Would you have let him bleed to death, or would you have called after an ambulance? I know this is an old thread, but it's good one, so why don't revive it? If I had to stay overnight alone, I'd have to have earplugs and my blankie so I can block out anything I hear and close my eyes the whole time!! >.<

na89340qv0n34b09q340
We've been on the topic of haunted houses for almost thirteen months now. C'mon ephermalstar! What would you do if you were diagnosed with cancer and had a week to live (I would live serious answers on this one please) I'd probably leave a little message on a couple internet accounts saying that I'm dead, then I'd burn my diary and all the stuff I've written for fun, like a goodbye bonfire in my room for myself, and then probably spend the rest of the week doing what I've been doing, just without any obligations to fulfill. Frank Brown
What would you do if you were diagnosed with cancer and had a week to live (I would live serious answers on this one please) Spend time with people that have the same illness as me and try to comfort them, as well as family and close friends for the majority of the time. Once there's a day left, I'd do all of the crazy stuff I've always wanted to do.
EphemeralStar
What would you do if you were diagnosed with cancer and had a week to live (I would live serious answers on this one please) Joe Chip: Oops! haha, I just really wanted to answer that question. If I have cancer, and only have a week to live I would travel. I would travel and surf, until the last three days then I would spend every moment with the ones I love and eating at all you can eat-korean bbq and sushi places!! And somehow acquiring a ghost chili and eating one for sh*ts n giggles and then I would end up not dying because the ghost chili had magic properties that killed my cancer and I live happily ever after
Shah Sam
What would you do if you were diagnosed with cancer and had a week to live (I would live serious answers on this one please) I don't have the money to travel or do fun sh*t the last week, so I would probably stay home with my family, but also visit school to say goodbye to my friends and classmates. I would also hang out with my friends on my spare time. No homework or practicing to tests the last week, f*ck that.
