trip
I'll start: What would you do if you found someones wallet, and in the wallet you found a large sum of money, and identification of the person the wallet and the money belonged to? I was in that situation from the wallet loser end. The good news is someone found it and returned it to the local police station and the police called me to pick it up. All of my money and everything else was in tact.  Even if that hadn't happen to me and I found someone's wallet w/money I would do my best to get it to them. I feel better about myself when I am honest and not dicking anyone over. I'd take the money, stash it, call the person and told them i found their wallet. If questioned about the money, i'll tell them i found it without any, but at least you got your credit cards and whatnot back. Â Money comes and goes. 4 Bagger
Their stupid f*cking fault for losing their wallet and not noticing. I can gather the type of person you are. Â Anyway I'd end up trying to get in touch and give it back. I'd be f*cking raging if it happened to me and some douche took the money and credit cards so I wouldn't do it to others. Finn 7 five 11
Annoyingly enough i would probably have moral repercussions if i did take it, but it depends on the sum of money, if it was like 200 bucks i would give it in right away, a larger amount i would probably take some for myself and hand it back in. Sanjeem
I'll take the money and throw the wallet in a trash bin. Sadly, I'd do the same. I would throw the wallet in a pond though. Don't want police or someone finding it in a bin and looking for fingerprints, that would suck. Also it does depend how much was in the wallet, if it was a anything below 100 I would take, anything above I would hand it in, no questions asked. GTA 360
I'd call the guy up, and give him the wallet with everything in it, and hope he gives some reward. If I was the one that lost the wallet and someone returned it I'd give them about half of the money in it, after all, it's a choice of half of the money missing or all of it. Thing is, If I lost something and never found it, and say that I dropped it and somebody took the money and I found this out somehow, I would probably curse whilst thinking of that person but the just say to myself that I would do it, why expect better of others, it's only natural that we fall into temptation, in that sense. Dingdongs
It depends on how much money. If there were hundreds of dollars in there, then I'd certainly call up and get it back. You don't know if that belonged to a poor family with no health insurance that had to bring bens to the doctor or something, etc. If it were anything under like 60 bucks I'd probably take it and then do as mentioned, return it and say I found it wtih no money in it. Fireman
As I've seen my dad lose his wallet not more than 3 days ago, I can tell that I would take the money (unless it was someone I knew) and give back everything else. Â People really don't care about a couple of euros being lost. It's the cards that are most important.
Cheat
Kinda funny that the first one to answer's supposed to come back with a new question, but whatevs, I'll hop on the boat - if I was in an financially poor situation, I'd honestly probably take the money, but in my current situation, I'd either look up the person and return the wallet or give it to the police. tuareg
You don't know if that belonged to a poor family with no health insurance that had to bring bens to the doctor or something, etc. This is the only reason i'd return it. Oakshaft
Id take some of the money, and find out his adress, and give his wallet back, if he doesnt give a reward i would keep the money i tok, if he gives a reward i will mail the amount i took back to him  NEXT: Your on a adventure in the russian wilderness and you come across an abondoned nuclear base, it appears as though they didnt disable one of the missiles and it is still functional, its target for the missile is a large lake with no people living near it/in the blast radius. Do you launch the nuke to have a great story to tell to your friends when you get back home if you get back home, cause your gonna have to go fast lol or do you just ignore it and leave?  and yes one of those bases actually exists: http://www.cracked.com/article_19449_6-ima...e-are-real.html View #5 and read it, and note the line that says "a couple of nuclear SS-N-23 Skiff ballistic missiles that were forgotten in a rusting sub for years before the Russians ever noticed them"  So lets say they forgot about another one, and you managed to get on it?  So what would you do? Sanjeem
Well firstly I wouldn't know how to disarm a nuclear missile in the first place unless it had a big green button on it saying "Disable". Other than that, it's a lake, some fishies gone die and maybe the local people from radioactive poisoning in the water, but oh well. I'd just leave it then. Mr.Funny12
I once found a wallet in a parking lot. It had the guys license, two credit cards, and about $150-$180 bucks in it. I looked at it for a minute, then figured I'd do the right thing. I found the guy in the motel and gave it back. Â I ended up recieving $50 bucks, the guy was happy to give it to me too. na89340qv0n34b09q340
I'd probably attempt to give it back, if the owner didn't take it back within a few months I'd keep the money, but also have enough stored away to pay the owner back, just in case.
