@Miltia Yes, I'm starting to notice you have to think before doing anything in this game. I'm currently struggling with the Paramedic missions, since I noticed I hadn't done them just as I finished Trial By Fire (I finished it in the last possible second too xD) and I had done far too much stuff to reload by then. I'm thinking of ghosting an Ambulance, will that help at all?

Also, I already glitched the Trashmaster to SI, so I won't keep it in memory (I got lucky!) And I took the Stretch to SV as well

You should do a Starter Save in III. I usually do Paramedics Level 12 FIRST thing after "Give Me Liberty" and "Luigi's Girls." I also DP the EC Kuruma and take it to SSV, immediately, too. I can't stand the Character's speed of running and when they get tired, so I just HAVE TO get Paramedics out of the way for the infinite sprint. As for III, in general, it's good to do it before the Triads, Leones, Yardies, or Colombians hate you and Portland, for the most part, is the best location to do it. You could get away with doing it in SI, but it's still best in Portland, no doubt, since that map is the easiest layout compared to the other two (SI and SSV).

But since you didn't do a Starter Save and have the Triads hate you, I suggest using a Ghost Ambulance, then. It might be difficult, though, cuz you get very little time and if the Ambulance grows in size, which it will, it slows it down. Also, if you drive through certain walls or buildings, you fall through Blue Hell and to spawn back on land takes time. All this extra few seconds adds up. It's your choice to try it, but I find that method not good and prefer doing it the legit way, right at the beginning of the Game. III is the only Game where it's absolutely recommended to do it at the beginning, or you will have a tough time reaching 100%. Same for the Mafia Rampage in Portland. If you wait for later to do that Rampage, the Mafia will be carrying shotguns instead of pistols ONLY, thus wasting you in seconds before you finish it. Again, you need to plan and think before starting a III playthrough. It's much difficult when going for Special Vehicles and wanting to finish to 100%, etc.

Ok, nice. So what is your current Garages? Nothing in Portland, Trashmaster in SI, and Securicar and Stretch in SSV? Is that all? Did you not get the Kuruma or the Corpse Manana? If you got them, where are they stored? Those should be in SSV, as well.

By the end, you should have:

Portland: AP Cheetah

Staunton Island: BP/FP Trashmaster, BP/DP Barracks OL, DP/EC Stinger, DP/EC Infernus, AP Bobcat, BP/DP Patriot

Shoreside Vale: BP/FP Securicar, AP/EC Stretch, DP/EC Kuruma, Unique/EC Corpse Manana, DP/EC Rumpo, DP/EC Cheetah

Actually, I read that in order to avoid the Purple Nines glitch you should save a file on Slot 8 right after 'Luigi's Girls', so I could build a starter save on top of that. Soing all the Export list all over again isn't exactlt fun tho... Luckily is only the Portland one, not even the Emergency Crane (Actually, I've a savefile where I glitched out of the first mission, maybe I should do my starter savefile there xD)

The Ghost Ambulance is clumsy... And the problem with my save file is that I edited all gangs to have more powerful weapons so that's why they shred me to pieces. Maybe if I restore them back to their original Bats + Pistols instead of Uzis + Grenades it'll be easier to deal with them

This is my predicted garage layout (a + sign means the vehicle has been obtained, a - sign means it hasn't been obtained yet)

Portland:

-AP Cheetah

Staunton:

+BP/FP Trashmaster

-BP/DP Barracks OL

-DP/EC Cheetah

-DP/EC Stinger

-DP/EC Infernus

-BP/DP Patriot

Shoreside:

+DP/EC Kuruma

+BP/FP Securicar

+Corpse Manana

+AP/EC Stretch

-DP/EC Rumpo

-AP Bobcat

Everything in Portland obtained so far. I gotta do Taxi fares, Paramedic, the Emergency Cane, Firefighter and the Portland Rampages (and maybe Stunt Jumps and Hidden Packages) then I'll just finish Portland missions and move on to Staunton Island and the dreaded Bobcat (not before the Rumpo or the Barracks OL tho)

BTW, can you pick up prostitutes during missions?

Idk why you don't do a Starter Save. All the sh*t you are naming can be done after Luigi's Girls. You get it done, then you ALWAYS have it if you want to do III again......Unless you like doing 100 Taxi Fares over and over and over and boring tasks like that, then don't make one...It's up to you. But I get ALL nonsense out of the way. The only Vehicle in a III Starter Save is the DP/EC Kuruma and it's inside SSV. Doing 53% of the Game before any other Missions in the Game with only needing to maintain the DP/EC Kuruma in SSV is easy...

I don't think so, but it might be possible. You don't need Hookers for anything in III, though. Only in LCS you need them to DP Vehicles without adding +1 to Mission Attempts.

Also, any Mods installed when doing these playthroughs is kinda pointless, even if you're making the Game harder and/or easier. It's not the same as doing it legit and I only care for legit playthroughs. None with Mods/Cheats/Editors/Hacks/CLEO, etc, etc. None of the above should be used or touching the Saves.

I should've donedone a Starter Save... I'm doing it now, and so far I have 100 Taxi Fares, 60 fires, 99 Packages, 20 Rampages, 20 Stunt Jumps, and the Portland Import/Export and the Emergency Crane, Mafia Massacre, Diablo Destruction, and Rumpo Rampage. I'm struggling with Patriot Playground though

Also, I used a trainer to spawn the cars and practice with stashing the SSV garage, and after 30 minutes I managed to stuff it all in, although when I open the garage the cars jump around a little. If SSV was this hard, I can't imagine SI O.o

Patriot Playground and Gripped! are probably the 2 worst Side Missions in III by far. I did Gripped! one of the first things in my Starter Save. I actually worked backward from SSV, to SI, to Portland. Going back and forth to all the Islands over and over uses extra time and I am a man who likes to take the most efficient route. I probably did III in less than 20 hours, tbh. Unfortunately, III doesn't have a Total Playing Time Stat so I can't be certain. However, OrionSR someone extracted my playing time from the actual Save File and it read 13 Hours around when I finishing up my Starter Save, so I probably finished the entire game in under 20 hours, no joke. It's really fast, which makes it seem "easy," but there is some stuff in III that is a bitch...

It's fine. On PS2, when I open the SSV Garage, the BP/FP Securicar and the EC Securicar are actually smoking, and sometimes black smoke. But eventually when I open and close, open and close it, etc, it'll fix itself and the thing is as long as you can get 6 into there and out of there, it's good enough.

The same thing happened to me in PS2, as well. It took me a good 30 minutes to figure out how to stuff them in there and keep them there, etc. SI is actually easier, imo. The Bobcat and Patriot can easily be backed up right onto the Sports Cars which sit low to the ground (Cheetah, Infernus, Stinger). It's not actually that hard. It just looks bizarre. In PS2, when I open up my SI, the Bobcat and Patriot basically roll out of the Garage. But on Mobile, that Bobcat I have on top of the Infernus in the one Photo just remains there. When I open the Garage nothing happens and all cars stay in place perfectly. You don't NEED the Patriot in SI. You could have it in Portland, if you want, and have the EC Cheetah instead in SI like how you see in my Photo on the previous page. It's up to you, though. However, if you are saving the AP Cheetah for the end like I recommend if you are playing on any other Version other than Mobile, then just keep that in Portland and the other 12 between SI and SSV. It makes sense. I did NOT do this on Mobile due to the fact I got the Cheetah early while I was still in Portland using a Fire Truck, actually and was successfully and quite quickly. Only took 2 tries and I got it perfectly into the Garage and it saved. Later on, I made it DP and stored it in SSV like where it is still.

On PS2, I can do Patriot Playground within 3 tries and Gripped! within 5 tries. On Mobile to pass Gripped! it took nearly 40 tries and a couple hours of reloading and retrying. The problem I had on Mobile was the controls slipping due to my hand sweaty on the heated Phone. I also had trouble due to the camera angles. When you were driving up vertical hills, you straight up, literally, couldn't see ANYTHING in front of you and had to look at the minimap and actually "guess" where the blue blip would be that you had to drive into. Really stupid sh*t always occurs on the Mobile Versions. But Patriot Playground on Mobile, that took about 7 tries or so...Multistorey Mayhem and A Ride in the Park are both very easy, though...On PS2 and Mobile, both, I pass these first try.

Anyways, good luck on getting the next set of Special Vehicles. The Bobcat, and onward until the end is tricky due to storage space issues and obtaining the Bobcat in general...

I remembered those two an hour ago and finished them first try. Gripped! though... I don't ever want to do this. PC version you can't move the camera on a vehicle so it was really tough to accomplish.

Storing in the Staunton Island garage doesn't seem THAT bad (15 minutes only, unlike SSV's 30 min), until I have to stack the Patriot. Finding the right angle to back up is a total bitch

You can't move the Camera on Mobile, either, only 360 degrees in a rotating circle. PC Version can do the same thing, same with VC. SA is the only one with a rotating Camera that can be used with ALL angels. Oh, LCS and VCS do that, too, as well. On PS2 for III and VC.....No camera whatsoever. Can't move at all....Nada...PS2 is always the hardest, imo, due to these circumstances.

I said the same thing after passing Gripped! But I passed it 4 times now in 4 different playthroughs. July 2006, June 2014, January 2015, and just a few weeks ago on Mobile...I am not afraid of III anymore like I used to be due to these Side Missions and such. Now I don't worry and know I will pass them eventually in a handful of tries usually...

What do you mean? The Patriot just "fits." It's like the missing puzzle piece. And like I said, you don't even need the Patriot in there. You can put it in Portland and/or try and position it like my EC Cheetah is inside SI.

Also you just line the Patriot up on the right hand side of the Garage door while it's closed. Then get out of the Patriot and open the Garage door. Then get back into the Patriot and back it up onto the Stinger, Infernus, or Cheetah. Whatever will be underneath, on the bottom. Those are the only 3 Vehicles you can have on the ground and back the Bobcat and Patriot up on to. Nothing else will work...

Ah, yes. I figured it out. I wish there were bikes in this game to keep the garage doors open tho. Whatever, since I know I'll be able to fit the cars (kind of) easily, then it's time to collect them

a question regarding the all proof black limo from Don Calling a meeting

does the crusher ghost car trick work on it ?

I mean simply make a random car as ghost and with it enter the warehouse to steal the limo and then also apply the glitch on the limo to move it to other island ??

I never managed to move the Securicar to other island because It always fell off the tunnel after it sunk into ground so I rather move the limo to other island

I *think* you can turn the AP/EC Stretch into a Ghost, but am not 100% positive. You might be able to drive a Ghost can into Joey's Garage to obtain it, but using the Linerunner to glitch inside of it is easy enough by jumping into the roof, etc...

Imagine the BP/FP Trashmaster...THAT is quite the challenge to get to SI early via underground method. I only ever did it once for my Mobile iOS Playthrough. Every other time on PS2, I just left it in memory to get it.

frankly the Linerunner method can be annoying too for example I had multiple tries because Claude has gone inside and when truck exploded he fell into blue hell and was spawn back outside the warehouse, or truck exploded but he was back outside on the wreck so a ghost car might be much easier if this trick works ...

is there a trick on the Securicar ? when it starts to sink if I accelerate a bit forward it gets stuck , if I don't do anything, rear is off tunnel roof and falls off it...

The Stretch can be ghosted and taken to Staunton/Shoreside easily. And the Linerruner method is easy and has never given me trouble in my 5 tries to get the Stretch, but your method could also work

That Trashmaster itt's total hell ._.

The Securicar, it's all luck. Just keep trying, and if the Securicar gets too damaged respary it and keep trying still

I find it easier to reload. Why? Securicar is inside Portland and ready to drive right next door to glitch it underground. No need to waste time going back and forth to a Pay and Spray...

I just glitch the Stretch underground since Mobile the Crusher doesn't work unless you are using specific Missions to make the Vehicles DP. It can't be done whenever you want like all the other Versions of the game...

Linerunner exploding? Never heard of it...

think a better strategy is to keep Securicar in Portland then wasting time trying it so much, get the stretch to other island and just keep the Trashmaster in memory until bridge is open

the black Rumpo can be made ghost and so solved all this Portland unique vehicles

no what I mean it's often when the Securicar sinks I apply a bit foward so it will land better on tunnel but often it glitches the glitch , half the top of it is on the map the bottom of it bellow it then it blows up (but often not it just stuck , if you exit, Claude is on tunnel but Securicar is stills tuck above him...)

really really annoying

Limerunner exploding I mean after you shoot it with UZI while your're on top of it

@Militia, lining up the Linerruner's top with the back door's top part, making sure half of Claude is clipping thru the roof, and you blow it up so you'll be forced into the garage

You'll see at around 2:15

Well, there is numerous Special Vehicles in Portland. I don't skip them. There is the DP/EC Kuruma, BP/FP Securicar, Unique/EC Corpse Manana, AP/EC Stretch, and BP/FP Trashmaster. Even if you want to get it early, the BP/EP/FP Cheetah. I always get 13 in total for III...

No idea what you are talking about? Shooting Linerunner? What...? LOL

All you do is jump and jump and jump until Claude falls through the top roof. Then you get into the Stretch and back it up into Blue Hell. 1/5 star difficulty, really. In fact, it might be the EASIEST Special Vehicle to get in III other than ones that are given to you like the Kuruma, Patriot, and Barracks OL.

Lol, yeah, must be an old, outdated method. Just like how you can push the Stretch through the water to SI. None of the above needs to be done

The Stretch can also stay in Portland, as well. Doesn't need to be taken to SI or SSV early...

Blowing up the Linerunner seems easier to me than clipping thru the roof, so I'll stick with that

I can't leave the Stretch in Portland because my Securicar is already (temporarily) there, plus I can ghost it and take it to SI/SSV easily

Lethal Vaccine

...So you get the Trashmaster underground, but not the Securicar?:blink: Uhh....?!

Securicar is so easy. PS2 or iOS I don't have problems with that one. The second I get it from Van Heist I save it in Portland. I reload my game, then I keep trying to get it to SSV. Takes about 3-4 tries. I don't know why mike tries accelerating or something, though. That messes it up for sinking through the ground completely, lol...Not until it FALLS UNDERGROUND do I accelerate or reverse, hoping that it lands on the platform underground perfectly. Most times it doesn't, but after a handful of tries it gets done and those handful of tries only take 10 minutes or less, basically...I've never got my Securicar where it was damaged so much it caught fire. I ALWAYS get it underground without even getting it to register black smoke. Only white smoke here and there...

For the record, PS2 can't even Free Aim how you guys can on PC. Mobile can't, either. So pointing the Uzi at a Linerunner is NOT gonna happen...Ever. It's unobtainable that method on every Version except PC. I don't play PC. Never will. Everyone and their neighbor has a PC Save out there, whereas I don't see anybody doing it on PS2/Mobile, as it's way harder.

I got lucky with the Trashmaster, that's why. My savefiles got deleted so I had to start my collectiion again and so this time I had no luck getting the Securicar underground so i said 'f*ck it' and put it off for when SSV gets unlocked

]Firts time I got the Securicar I struggled a little but was able to pull it off with black smoke. This time the Securicar torched 3 times so I just gave up

See, I don't find the underground part the problem, I find the landing on the underground platform the problem. I can straight up get it to sink perfectly within 5-15 seconds or so. But when it lands on the platform, either the back or the front of the Securicar's tires are hanging off, thus falling off into Blue Hell and respawning back on land. When this happens, I usually just reload, since the glitching location is right next to the Portland Safehouse. But within 3-4 tries and 5-15 seconds each + the reload time, I can get it to SSV no problem, and that's where it needs to go. It won't fit in SI if you want 13...

When I am sinking any Vehicle, I usually just hold the analog stick one way to force the car to bounce and glitch out and fall through. I also keep the same flow of acceleration. I don't try to go forward until it sinks totally through the ground, or you will f*ck it up. It's really easy. All I did was mimic what you see in the OP of this very Topic. And the time it takes to get it underground is seconds for the most part. I don't see any problems.

I have a big problem now, is there some trick on the PC version

I manage to keep the BP Trashmaster in the final 3 missions in memory, just the last one when I leave Portland I walk all the way back and it's never there , I did left it with door open and in different palces
