Legendary912
Airplane/Airport Imagine, being able to go to the Airport & buying a ticket, entering the plane. Feeling the luxury of first class. Rockstar will outdo themselves if this happens for instance people entering the plane and sitting down the feeling of that realism would be immense. We could have the choice to Hijack the plane and/or killing everyone on board. (It is Grand Theft Auto.) Buses In GTA IV how the public bus never picked up people from bus stops was really unrealistic as the driver was the only one that was in the vehicle itself. (and never stopped) I think in GTA V Rockstar are going to push the realism to the max and surprise us with every detail from pedestrians waiting at the stops/stations and entering the bus. (and completing the route) Taxicab Again, we never witnessed civilians calling for taxis in IV. (Only the player) So it would be a good addition in V. Subway (Like in GTA: San Andreas) A drivable/Hijackable train should be in the game. Since V is taking place in San Andreas we should also be able to actually enter it. (walk inside) Trams You're walking and see a Tram go by.. Just run to it and hop on ! Limos Limo hire would be a great way to get around in style! Maybe side missions as a Chauffeur? What are your thoughts? Edited January 2, 2012 by Legendary912
lol232
Subway, Driveable, Jackable, Like in III&IV. Why not? Helicopters Similar to Brucie's Helicopter Transport like in IV. Limo's Like in GTA IV Beta... @iGTA Thanks, sweet of you to say so! Edited January 2, 2012 by lol232

ChillyPhilly
Los Angeles and California make one of the most car-dependent areas in the world. The main - and in some areas of the urban area - only form of transport is the private motor vehicle. So get ready to see more emphasis on driving and roads than we saw with Liberty City. But, Los Angeles has a (growing) subway network, called the MTA, with more and more busways and dedicated bus lanes being built on freeways over time. mulder84
You know, sometimes I really hope San Fierro is in GTA V just so they can introduce tram rides throughout the city.
bscutajar
I found that, although public transport might be realistic, it takes away from the game in my opinion. During my first playthrough of GTA4, I used taxis alot; I figured they were a very good time saver. But then, after I completed the storyline missions, I realised I had completed GTA4 without actually knowing my way around Liberty City. I found myself getting lost too much in the city, because I lacked the necessary experience since I was using taxis and skipping the trip all the time. That was the moment I decided I will never use taxis again. Driving to the places you need to go is not only more fun, but it makes you used to the city. So public transport is an area which I am not too fond of.

You never were forced to skip the ride....I took taxis majority of time and know my way around....I just hit rush and sat back and watched how horrible the driver was....some are funny 2. Take th public transport just don't skip the whole ride.....that's my 2 cents

If you were just going to endure the whole trip then might as well drive yourself. Much more fun than watching the driver doing a poor job of staying on the road. Dystopia
Taxi's were cool in IV, helped a lot. Don't see why they can't implement it in other forms of travel. Although everyone probably just presses X and skips haha.

No one forced you to take the taxis, you could have just stolen a car and driven back every time. Instead you want it taken completely out because you don't like it. That's dumb. Anyways, yeah, make all transportation options available to the player and make it so the peds use them too. Add in skip and hijacking options and this will all be cool.
