Anyway, do you really think they had the NEXT game location planned whilst they were making GTA IV? No. So how would they of put all that stuff in? Vice City was mentioned alot too, yeah it wasn't 'visualized' but it's clearly a coincidence that they ended up going with SA. The only plausible thing would be, that they put that Vinewood sign in the theme park but wasn't that put in a patch or something after the trailer of V came out? If anything, vice city was the one that was overrated compared to san andreas. San andreas was far more complete. Vice city fan boys can't control their hatred on SA and they try to justify their opinion by giving poor reasons like "the music alone is enough for me". Because I doubt they make VC hints on purpose. There are many references for many other cities, so it helps making it more secret. Obviously "Roman" (GTA IV) numeral "5" 'V' led people to believe V is Vice City, but that's TOO easy! And also people seem to not know roman numbers nowadays. I've already heard someone saying the game acronym as "gee tee a vee". I think it's a good time to point out that there's a difference between a hint and a reference. This. I'm not bashing them for liking it for its music. I'm just tired of VC fanboys who start spilling their hatred when someone talks about sa's features and yet they keep talking about vc. If they don't like someone doing something. They should stop doing the same act which irritates them when some other does that. I've seen many SA fanboys go on and on about their precious SA when there's no reason to. Anyway the thread isn't VC vs SA. All VC vs SA better stop from this point and stick to the topic at hand. Once they established the RAGE engine, a huge SA game was always in the making. So, they began work on it, around the same time they began work on IV. IV was created to keep the market flowing, and tie us over until R* have completed the Granddaddy of all games. boogachamp Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Yeah that SA sh*t gets on my nerves. It was a fun game but it was the content that made the game for me and not the location. I have to agree (ohi forum, my first post in years I think ). I am actually playing SA for the first time right now after finishing the whole IV saga. I am not that far into SA and so far I am blown away at the content (Burglaries, Pimping, killing drug dealers, vehicle "upgrades").
