If GTA V DLC consists of cities.

I don't know if there's a topic on this but if so, its so last year. But I basically want to get others opinions about this quite possible plan for DLC.

 

I, myself honestly thinks it would be an absolute game changer, show and potentially heart stopper if we could revisit HD versions of past GTA cities.

Been here for awhile so this is nothing new. We still have lord knows how many months of time left which will consist of spam, troll and rehashed topics.

Vice City as DLC!?! I'd prefer it be done justice as a standalone game. As for LV or SF, if they are going to be part of V, they better be included from the beginning!

Initially I thought this a rumor with merit, but I am tending to think it not feasible still, a DLC with new maps instead of other new content in the same map would be a challenge, and not related to prior content on this generation, I think only akin to the GTA London top down release, what little I know of that, since I avoided the first GTA 2Ds, no disrespect to DMA, but Rockstar North gets the credit for the 3D current direction, generation

I would support a Las Venturas DLC. However I do agree that making people pay for content that should have been in the orginal version would be a mistake. I don't think that there will be any other cities besides Los Santos.

I'd buy it but they would be crazy to make a whole city just for dlc. I know Rockstar are ambitious but that would just be overkill not to mention a waste of time and resources that could be used for the next GTA, I would rather they stuck with episodes.

No,that would be complete robbing.Rather play original SA again then that.Besides who would keep all that GB of content on a HDD?Not everybody have new models with 250 or 320 GB.And even PC owners would think about it all that space. If they really have to then do the stand-alone packs like Assassins creed Brotherhood and Revelations.Or even better make new games with those cities-GTA 6,7,8 etc.

DMA is Rockstar North you numpty.

 

Anyway, I dont think Rockstar woud do that without putting in a story with it but I would prefer them to have San Fierro and Las Venturas as DLC as it would free up a load of space for more other stuff on the main game.

Same here. Ill buy any DLC for GTA V just because I know it won't be anything like the last one. EFLC. I'm just saying this because GTA V is suppose to be a new direction game play, story telling, etc.

Because I want the DLCs to be like EFLC. Where it follows a new character in the same city. Idk why people are so he'll bent on wanting other cities for V

Yeah that's true. Vice City would feel out of place and deserves irs own game. However it would be cool to do something like playing as Packie in Ventures or Gay Tony in SF.

But you know how long that would take to do? It's much more realistic that they'll do a throwback of old GTA Cities like Vice City, because that would be extremely easy due to their map space like Vice City and upgrade the graphics.

DLC with whole cities? Impossible. It would be possible as a Disc add-on but very annoying since you'd have to swap discs every time you want to enter a new city.

All DLC is milking dude. Especially if you had to pay for it.

 

Im sure LV and SF will make more sense than Vice City but that unrealistic thinking since they already confirmed Los Santos and showed quite a bit of game play and mission snippets.

 

I for one think maybe its los Santos condense into a simulation of unique AI interactions. Such as people shopping, eating, working out and committing crimes.
