Cbizzle30
Do yall think Rockstar will include some form of tribute to the characters/story of Red Dead Redemption in GTA V? Maybe like a statue of a cowboy on his horse that looks surprisingly similar to John Marston, or something of that effect. What do yall think? Just a sttue in the park of Edgar Ross on a horse. since he was the hero and all.

I don't think we will see anything from Red Dead Redemption. GTA is a completely different game from RDR so why should there be any kind of tribute/reference in GTA V? There's a chance: IV had the hippo bins from Manhunt, and most if not all Rockstar games have a certain car in them, I think (a Idaho?). Also, V might share some territory with RDR, so there might be even more scope for references. Rockstar like to reference other games, even ones they didn't make (e.g. the Pac-man on the end of CJ's nose).

Buffalo Soldier
There was an RDR Reference in LA Noire, a Bully Reference in IV if I remember correctly. Of course there will be one in this, probably just a poster or something of the desert.
Lock n' Stock
If the TV shows return, they could make "Spittoon" (which had a commercial in GTA IV featuring footage from Red Dead Revolver) into a viewable show where footage (shoot-outs e.g) from Red Dead Redemption is used. Racecarlock
One thing I hope does not come from red dead redemption is the acid filled lakes that new austin apparently had. Seriously, death water is an anachronism in this day and age, and I really can't believe that they brought it back. That is bullsh*t.

I'm assuming the reason this was in RDR is because most people back in those days didn't know how to swim. Of course it wont be the same case in GTA V. But what if one accidentally falls in the water? Welp, hours of gameplay lost. That is frustrating and bullsh*t. Does nothing for challenge or fairness. OGCFB
I think it's possible but they will be really small like they will name a street Marston Street or something similar.
K-Malo94
maybe. but not something major. maybe something like a cowboy movie poster.
Ash_735
I'd like to see a reference to the man from "California" side mission in Red Dead Redemption, perhaps a relative telling the story of how his great granpa died trying to get to this great city or something. Jeeebuuus
I think it would be funny if they had Seth's great great grandson as some coked up and crazy drug dealer who you have to accept missions from.
Lucky Sevens
When you all see the cherry red guitar, remember who sourced you! It has been an easter egg of some sort in every single R* release. The guitar in question belongs to George Harrison.
GroveWarrior
They could probably put in a ghost town.Seeing as San Andreas had one,Plus they are gonna have some Desertland right? They could put Armadillo as one.
Vice Beach
I can't help but think R* will be reusing some recognizable decor from RDR on LS's countryside. I don't see why not. Why spend time modeling an old farmhouse when you can pull it off of a harddrive in 3 seconds flat. Don't even need to put down the bottle. Woody112
The TV show Spitoon as someone else mentioned would be a good way for a reference without crossing game-universe barriers. I doubt it will be anything more than a media reference.
