radioman
Most are on Medium/Low and its on 1600-900 Lower the Resolution to around 1024X600 and you should get better fps...This game will not perform well with that Video card on the Max. resolution...Also, lowering the sliders to 25 or less will help too. Patch 4 is the best performance-wise for the 5000 series ATI cards and lower... Another thing that can help is the memrestrict command line to increase the vram. But, since you are on the Steam version, there is a special method you have to go through to get Patch 4 to stay without Steam automatically updating back to the latest Patch...SlaveZer0 mentioned how to do it, but I could not find that topic again... I turned every setting way down low and now I get a better frame rate but I shouldn't have to... Like Ethan, anything else you need to know, I can look it up... I'd say low-medium at most for a smooth framerate. Download Fraps and use it to find your framerate while playing. It probably isn't as low as 10, but you'll probably need to lower the sliders some more. @Windowswill: You certainly should have to; that GPU is bottom end of the notebook 500 series. VRAM =/= resulting performance.

I changed it to 1280x720 and it still lags like poo Its all on low settings it says that im using 220/1024mb And when i join a multiplayer game it says my computer is running too slow, is there a fix? anus
The best fix I know that actually gives you more FPS is this. Incredible tweak.
unc13bud
I changed it to 1280x720 and it still lags like poo they told you to lower it to 1024x600. if you are going to be hard headed, you can expect to get any sort of meaningful results. both of you posters need to lower it to the base minimum (low/off everything + low distance), then work your way up. when you like the frame rate, THEN start adding the eye candy.
