Imho competitive MP is a waste of time on what could be used on making the SP or Free Mode better. Free mode is basically a deathmatch anyway. Of course there should be competitive MP, I just never really liked car jacking or Jobs, if they were improved upon then they may be great. Maybe if they made the DM with tanks or chainsaws it would interesting and fun. RDR's MP actually felt like a grinding game like RPGs, since you had to get to certain levels for weapons you wanted to use. If they used GTA IV's ranking system but included unlocking cars and clothes maybe the game would be fun. But no grinding crap like RDR, unless it's specifically for competitive MP. In our country you can't get a pretty fast internet to sustain a multiplayer battle without the f*cking lag. There are some people confirmed to work on third-party Multiplayer mod for GTA V(just like SA-MP) so I wouldn't mind if the game will not include multiplayer. I'll play on console anyways. Only thing I want changed is that SP gets access to any vehicles available in MP. I didn't like that the Police Stinger from TBOGT was MP only, as well as the other special vehicles. kudoboi Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 no i want MP.. 80% of the time i spend on GTA IV after completing campaign is in MP.. if there is no MP it would get very very boring after a week just like SR3 * no offense*. good mods only comes out a year after a game is released usually. i do not plan on waiting 2 years or a year just for a f*cking MP. even with co op the game will still be pretty boring unless there is co op missions and alot of them. GTA IV multiplayer was 1 of the best MP in a game.. there was chaos and i had alot of fun driving on ramps or dicking around or building my own house out of random objects in free roam or just having fun shooting each other in deathmatch. I'm talking about modes like DM and Turf war. They could just add turf war into free mode same with races. Also, SR3 is really good doesn't really matter that they took out MP since I never played it in SR2. I'm betting that GTA V's MP will be like RDR's. If so, I'm done with multiplayer. Thanks to multiplayer, I give GTA4 a play online once a week or here and there still to this day. It never gets old... So no, and if anything, I'd rather see it become exclusively multiplayer as opposed to single player. Slight exaggeration maybe, but if I had to pick I'd prefer multiplayer. They should still be included for fans who want them, though. That said, I'd like as many of V's MP features to be integrated into Free Roam as possible (such as gang wars, hunting, etc.). Not Hardcore versions again, why not just let people choose what they want in the session like GTA IV.
