Kalvin
I'm on the server now, why are you AFK in water? XD Also, how do you go on the same server, but different? Like, the party and co server. I don't have a clue how to go on it. Stuck on the main map Edited December 24, 2011 by ManDog Shine o' Vice | Vice City BETA Edition | Grand Theft Auto 3D
nkjellman
Nice work. Ill join that server soon. It looks like alot of fun. But how big is the map? Is it small, big, or small and next to the original San Andreas? @Blaster: There isnt enough tools out to make something like this on IV yet. However when there are, there are a lot of things the game has advantages over the old game. The ingame internet for one. I'm sure someone could use the email in there and email other people on the server. Or even text others with the cell phone. The internet in GTA IV could also be used like the Biliton board is in thiis mod.
Kalvin
Far outside SA, i think. Also it's small, takes 30 seconds to run (sprint) to one side to the other, but it's got loads of awesome stuff. Normaly you cant map outside the map boundries. I'm gussing thats a different story on SA:MP? But you can place map objects out there via script instead of IPL. Ive had script mods that do that on GTA SA (Single Player)

Ive had script mods that do that on GTA SA (Single Player) Yup, that's right, but what I did was create a large plane of water above LS and put the map as an island on the created water. The map lays 350 meters above Los Santos. If the seabed I created wasn't there, you could see the buildings under water.. One of the advantages of doing this, is the clipping of the camera: camera clipping (colliding with objects) fails outside SA's limits and you can't create planes of water outside the limits also. So wait. If I understand what you said. You can map outside the limits, but you cant edit the water. Also when you move the camra around it can go through objects. But are the objects fine? You can walk on them and they look right?
Timske
PAC, The Most Epic Server On MTA!!!
Bierbuikje
Epicness It looks very nice, but I have one question. When we were talking about the shop a long (long long) time ago you were explaining me that for every clan there would be a clan building. What if there will be a lot of clans? Will you keep adding clan buildings to the map? And if you run out of space, what happens then? Only wondering.

I created a plane of water, not edit the original water of SA and in MTA, water cannot be created outside SA's limits. The objects are fine, but the camera goes through objects when outside SA's limits. They look exactly the same and everything else can collide with it, just not the camera. It looks very nice, but I have one question. When we were talking about the shop a long (long long) time ago you were explaining me that for every clan there would be a clan building. There's a central building for the clans (you can see it in the video, a high, grey building), but that isn't done yet. Every clan can administrate itself there, invite players to their clan/team and update clanwars that they've won. There will also be a clan-scoreboard, where you can see exactly how the clans are compeeting against eachother.

Is the SA map avalable in this server? Nope. It's not a freeroam server . It's additional to the public race-server, where you earn your money doing races and minigames. The shopserver is what the name implicates: 'just' a server where you spend your money on tuning your cars, buying a playerskin etcetera, it's not meant as a freeroam server where you spend hours on freeroaming.
