The only change is BF3 was that there was more customization with guns and that new suppression mechanic which didn't really do anything for me. Lmao even MW3 had more change, which is saying something. Hopefully they also enhance destruction instead of tone it down. I also think they should've just done BC3. I mean, people are getting tired of modern shooters now, the same way people got tired of WW2 shooters last generation, and with this, it's basically confirmed there is at least going to be another in modern times, which is BC3. I also hope they bring out that Premium feature from BF3 as it wasn't that bad but I'm sure they can improve on it if they give it another chance (which seems likely). As the dude above me posted I would love to see them bring back the destruction that was in Bad Company 2 since BF3's was barely noticeable except in those Close Quarter maps but it wasn't as noticeable as BC2 of course. I'm wondering if it's possible to release it to the PS4/720 making it a good possibility that it won't be limited to 1/2 of the amount of players PC was capable of. Archangelsky Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 Since I assume BF4 will be a nextgen title, I also hope that they will improve the PC version by bumping up the number of players on a map to at least 80 and that the maps will expand by, lets say 1/3 of the BF3 maps, some hopefully even more. I have known since they said so that BF4 would take place in a modern setting, though I have to say that I had hoped for a WWII themed BF again, the WWII fps games got all out of style quite a few years ago now and it would be interesting to see what the improved technology could do with a WWII fps game today. However the "unlock" feature that has also arrived in the BF series makes it less likely for a possible WWII BF game in the future due to the rather narrow selection it has compared to modern equipment. I think in BF4 instead of some characters I don't give a sh*t about in the single player campaign, they should have a story with the BC guys. (Glock 17, 1911, M9) and have that single weapon have attachments, not have 3 different kinds for the suppressor or Tac Light. I shoot someone with my M16, it doesn't have separate stats because it has a suppressor and ACOG, it is simply an M16 with attachments. Same should apply to sidearms. Cosmic Gypsy Posted March 18, 2013 Share Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) I much prefer Bad Company 2 compared to BF3, Bad Company 2 was such a better sniping game, much larger, open, vehicle friendly (in my view better) maps, no ridiculous sniper glare, it had the UAV which was amazing, there were many improvements on BF3, like prone, better graphics, smoother less twitchy gameplay, better animations. But i still prefer BC2. BF3 in my view is a bit sh*t with all the COD like maps, shotguns and sh*t. They clearly tried to appeal to COD players with BF3. Plus BF3 has a whole lot of DLC, i remember back when Bad Company 2 was out they specifically said they would never charge people for new maps (i remember getting Heavy Metal, my favourite all time Battlefield map in a free update, there were a few more maps in the update also) now look whats happened.... I don't want attachements specific to one branch of the military/nation/... but on the other hand I don't want over the top attachements. Ones that make sense and that "the troops" use. And give us some options in them aswell. Not just "one" suppressor. Not just "one" heavy barrel. Give us options as in different kind of suppressors (giving different stats), different flashhiders (not per say different stats but also different kind of effects...), a wide range in optics, wide range in "heavy barrels" (Standard lenght, long lenght/...). Options to put multiple attachements (=> longer/different railsystems?). Put on a Laser Pointer (ANPEC) along with a flashlight, with a suppressor AND maybe even a grenade launcher? They're the developers... they should push it to the next level without compromising "common sense"/legitness. They did a great job testing it with MoH 2010 and with BF3 in my opinion... but it's time to seriously push up the ante! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Spending 1000 hours in a game is an incredible amount, if you consider that it equals like 42 days playing that game straight. What I expect from BF4? Be more like Battlefield 2 and less like 3 or Bad Company. I want bigger and better designed maps and higher player count for every platform, like 64 players.
