Spec for ENB, help~!

My current PC is

2500K

8gb Ram

6850

SSD

I was able to run GTA 4 fine. I think FPS was between 50 and 60.

If I get ENB mod, and if FPS drops, would I need a better GPU or CPU?

I can OC CPU and I heard that GTA is CPU heavy.

However, isn't graphic mod has something to do with GPU more than CPU?

And since GTA doesn't support crossfire or SLI, what would be the best option if i want to upgrade my GPU?

Thanks in advance.

Your CPU is top-of-the-line, overclocking will still surely help.

If your framerate would drop, it's likely to be your GPU.

ENB is very GPU intensive, and although the HD6850 is a good gaming card, you could upgrade it for more frames (especially when playing games like Battlefield 3).

As for upgrading, I'd say what's your budget?

Yeah as Exxon said visual mods put most of the strain on your graphics card. The 6850 might handle ENB with medium settings but you won't know until you try. Just keep an eye on your temperatures.

I don't think I will be spending more than $300 on a graphic card.

And I don't know what to do with 6850.

I know that the original pre-MOD GTA4 doesn't support crossfire, but does MOD also not support CF/SLI ?

ENB doesn't enable CF/SLI, so no.

Sell the 6850 and get a GTX570/6970. nVidia would be the better option for IV.
