Currently the most search for, as the site that found out put it, 2012 release game. Also Max Payne 3 is out searching Halo 4.

Just shows how 1 small bit of info can generate such a massive search ammount.

I hate this forum some times, I thaught this could generate some good discussions about how many it will sell and will it be the most pre ordered game of all time and such but clearley there are too many trolling yanks on here who think that anything that is not giving out infomation about gameplay. Whats the point in even being on a forum if all you say is sh*te like "Pointless topic" or "Use the search fuction you fool" or "Fake & Gay" or "In before the block" LET THE f*ckING MODS DECIDE ON THAT THATS WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR. If you dont agree with something report it to the f*cking mods and let them decide as that is what they are there for and they do a good enough job of it to be honest and they would probably prefer you trolling idiots to not try and do their job for them, christ.

Google can accurately predict human virus out breaks by tracking how many people are looking up different symptoms or flu related searches over google.

If GTAV is at the top for game release search, 99% it will be the best seller for 2012. No Doubt.

Nope, not sarcastic. I think it was in a documentary series by BBC, "the Code". Actually google can predict almost anything now regarding human life by following the millions of searches made in different geographical regions.

If you had a graph of virus outbreaks in a region and a graph of Google's algorithm of people looking up flu terms in the same region they line up exactly.

This kind of algorithm software could be the most powerful marketing tool ever, and can easily predict market futures let alone video game sales.

GRINCH ASS BITCH

Come on now people...you should be happy about this kind of thing.

I had spoken with someone a few days ago about MW3's sales being so high, and what upcoming game (if any) would be able to topple it. The only game that I could really think of that might have a chance is GTA:V (I guess Halo 4 might be up there as well). So for me, this is nice to know.

Battlefield 3 still beats it but it definitely gets a lot closer if you take out the "call of duty" part: http://www.google.com/trends?q=battlefield...date=ytd&sort=1

And both still beat GTA...

But I guess you have to take into account that GTA only had a trailer. smile.gif

Because they have been released already... They both spiked at the release date. GTA V is far from release and its trending high already, imagine when it is released.

Stop f*cking spamming the topic then you idiot. We don't need your pointless reply. Contribute or f*ck off, please.

Well, this is interesting. It shows us that GTA is still very popular amongst people and not just for us GTA nerds.

This thread beats seeing the same 5 "OMGGGG Leaked map!!!" threads and the same 'info' being posted over and over and over again in threads.... oh and don't forget all those threads about the people that have 'cousins' or 'uncles' at Rockstar and post 'leaked info'.

Hah, the 'human race' makes me laugh sometimes.
