And I understand what you're saying about feeling sick. I always feel like sh*t after eating McDonalds. Don't feel like doing anything. Not to mention all the employees are Mexican's that hardly speak English. They fixed it right away though. Good service after a failed service. It's fine to say you abstain (like Trip did) but when you start touting that you're the better person for not eating it, there's going to be a problem. The health issues aren't exactly a secret, and when you take nourishment and benefits into account, a cheeseburger is hardly a garden salad. That's obvious. Businesses like these work and they'll continue to do so with or without these so-called puritans who swear that fast food is a killer, but will smoke heavily and insist they're making the right choice in their diet. Some will justify it further by saying they hate the taste, but some legitimately do so and that's up to them. This isn't aimed at anyone in particular, it just gets my goat sometimes. KFC definitely has the best chicken though. I still like McDonalds, but if I had to choose order of preference it would be... KFC> Burger King (Hungry Jacks) > McDonalds. And yeah, what is even more funny is i have seen people go to subway then smoke about 10 cigarette's after it. Whats the point? AceRay Posted December 7, 2011 Share Posted December 7, 2011 What does everyone think about Denny's. Its not exactly fast food, more of a diner, but its still a franchise. I went there last night, and I had a Millennium burger with fries and a drink. Here are some thoughts. What I liked about the place is that they give you a tomato bottle. I can't count the amount of times I'm half way through my chips on the drive home (in the passenger's seat) and I'm out of sauce the dude gave me in the f*cking sachets. At Denny's, you get a whole f*cking bottle so I could have as much as I want on my chips. The chips are massive, the width of about three BK chips so you can get heaps on. I also like how you can flip the top bun off your bun and add your own sauce. The bun is put together loosely enough so you can add the sauce easily but sturdy enough so it doesn't fall apart in your hands. Oh, and the burger is massive too. It also looks like they have some nice f*cking breakfast meals. My Mom got a French slam (French toast with everything you can imagine on the side: Eggs, Bacon, Sausages, some other stuff) while my Dad got a Grand slam (same but with Pancakes instead). It looked really good and they liked it. Furthermore, their desert meals look delicious and they've got a nice variety, despite the fact that the only one I've ever gotten before is a spider. On the other hand, I have to say that the main meals look kinda sh*tty and expensive. It looks microwaved and its like $25 and you could get better meals at actual food places. So, I'd go for the burgers (which are like $10), breakfast meals and maybe the deserts but I would be careful with the rest. Just my 2 cents. I only get there once or twice a year, but when I do I'm in heaven. 6 scrambled eggs, 2 buttermilk pancakes and toast for just $7. Their non-breakfast food isn't that great though. Anyways, McDonalds isn't as good as Wendy's but its a whole lot cheaper. You can get a burger for $0.89 where I live. I don't eat there that often, as I'm not a big fast food eater, but it's not too bad. Wendy's burgers + Burger King buns + McDonalds Fries = Bliss. There's a Five Guys opening at a nearby mall soon. Based on the original idea of fast food, Chick-fil-a would be doing it right, as they're a lot faster than anywhere else. Last few times I've been they handed me my bag right after giving me my change. If you're going to talk about the quality of the food, McDonalds pretty much comes in last 9/10 times. The chips are delecious, But they are so thin and they do not fill you up.If you want a good fattening meal KFC or Burger King would be best, But McDonalds is the quickest for me. I got a value meal a couple of days before I got the two big mac meals, which had a Big Mac, Fish burger, fries, drink and a sundae. Most of it was nice but the fish burger had a horrible aftertaste. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Me and a friend must have gone through ten dollars worth of burger in a matter of days. They didn't taste much different to what they offer over here, but apparently the beef they use here in the UK is of far better standards than most places in the world. I don't say that because I'm from here, but I'm constantly seeing adverts and messages both in and out of restaurants chiming on about how good their cows are and how well they're reared. Its no surprise that Burger King has better quality burgers as it's called Burger King and it's no surprise that KFC does nicer chicken as it does specialise in, gues what?; chicken! Just because they're fast food joint, doesn't mean their food should be compared so black and whitely. They vary in quality and price and each serve aim at a slightly different markets. With their daily Lunch Hour deal from 12-3pm starting from MYR 5.95 for a medium McChicken, no wonder people keep going there. During Chinese New Year, they'll sell Twister Fries and Prosperity Burger. Once more, they are the one of the only fast food joint which is 24/7, besides KFC (but even they have fewer 24/7 joints here). So yeah, its definitely a big thing here, McDonalds. He felt it tasted like cardboard, was not too enthused. Is it good? five guys is amazing. their burgers are large and very flavorful. i've only been once and got a plain burger with bacon and fries. they give you SOOO many fries, they fill up your cup and put 2 more scoops of fries in the bag.. so many fries. Because you start to develop kind of a trusting relationship with a particular store. You go across town to a particular branch because "They get my order right most of the time."
