McDonalds

I'd rather a million times get KFC than get McDonalds; but to be honest I don't think it's terrible even though I know how unhealthy and full of crap that burger is.

One thing, though, if you go to McDonald's and order unsalted fries, you'll get them fresh. Then you can add the salt, so it's way healthier.

And that's why I go to McDonalds!

For a healthy meal!

So you're saying that it'll be healthier simply because it was just cooked instead of cooked an hour ago, or less? Or am I missing something? It'll still be their greasy fries and salt...

I never use to have a problem with McDonalds...

But when my dad died, he was laid up in his room for like a week sh*tting in a bucket. I'm not even joking when I say the room smelled like McDonalds. Ever since then I can't eat there. Once you realize their burgers have the same smell as a room a man is dying in, you can't really get it out of your mind. Honestly, it's kinda f*cked up, because whenever I smell McDonald's I remember being in that room.

She means the salt.

You can put less/no salt.

I always have to wait for my fries, so they're fresh anyway, I tell my folks that Mickey Dee's got the best fries in the land...but they go to Burger King anyway.

I personally like Wendy's better than any other fast food restaurant. McDonald's is just disgusting.

Ah, less salt. Okay. Don't really get that either though, that's the only thing that gives McDonalds fries any flavor. tounge2.gif

@iGTA: Let me guess, your parents still pay for it? I'm sorry but I can't justify spending $10+ on a Triple Baconator combo, and I can't imagine anyone spending that much on fast food. It's just insane to me. I mean even a Triple Whopper combo is only $7 or so.

I used to like McDonalds until I got food poisoning at one of their places, I was sick for 3 days. I've never gone back to a McDonalds since.

I always love dropping into these threads to gloat over the fact that I haven't had commercial fast food in nearly 30 years. Trust me, I still eat crap - just not that crap.

I wish I had your will power, dude.

I just scarfed down a McRib, and then silently wept into my golden french fries.

I'm sure having a place around every corner that sells cheesesteaks makes it a bit easier.

McDonalds gets my order wrong around 8/10 times. That alone makes me hate going there. Let alone the food tastes a little better than roadkill.

Best burger: Burger King

Best chicken sandwich: Chik-Fil-A

Best fries: Checkers/Rallys

Best fish: Captain D's

Best subs: Jimmy Johns

Best hot dog: Dairy Queen

I stand by this list.

As far as the topic at hand goes. I honestly can't say why people eat there. I personally do not and if I have no other choice than to eat there I will get only nuggets with honey. (Those f*ckers charge a quarter for every extra honey thing you get and they only give you three when you get 20 nuggets. Makes me mad.)

To the people wanting White Castle; just, uh, forgot you ever saw anything about them. They are twice as unhealthy as McDonalds and not near as good. The only slider type place I will eat like that is Krystals and only get the chili cheese pups and chili cheese fries from there.

Well, yeah, that's disturbing in its own right... But I also just find it disturbing that McDonald's smells such a way.

It's too bad most of you don't have Whataburger, which originated here in Texas and is mostly only in the south. They make some mean f*ckin fast food. Their honey bbq chicken sandwich is, for my money, the greatest single sandwich in all of American fast food. Here's a photo:

Homemade honey barbecue sauce, swiss cheese, soft bun (not a fan of the toast option), and three huge chicken strips. Not a cut chicken filet like you find on most sandwiches, but three actual giant strips that they normally use in their chicken strip combo. Truly amazing sandwich. Life changing, even. It's like the first time I heard the Beatles.

Whataburger is pretty much the only fast food I eat anymore - just had it last night, actually. For me it's a number 1 with cheese and jalapenos, but I'm going to have to give that honey bbq a try.

I used to eat Taco Bell on occasion until I heard they use "taco meat filling" rather than beef.

Brazil has only Mc Donalds, Burguer King and Subway, but I don't eat in McDonalds anymore, they don't make good hamburgers, I prefer BURGUER KING! alien.gif

McDonalds in Japan is decent, no sh*t. I would not eat there on my life in America, but McDonalds Japan is respectable.

I mean it's not gourmet, but good service, quality standards, and no food poisoning problems combined with super-cheap price make for a good damn fast food option.

Same thing here, McDonalds is one of the best places to get a tasty meal at a decent price. No Burger King here & other fast food outlets that do beef like Steers are slightly more expensive.

I never go there for poultry though KFC remain the chicken experts.

Which is probably why a local McDonalds store opposite an ISKCON centre hardly gets any customers. They aren't allowed to sell beef.

In Lithuania Cheeseburgers are much delicious than in USA. I can tell i've been there.

I've not been to McDonalds for years. It's all so full of saturated fats and is so tasty that I would eat too much of it given half a chance.

I'm already a big comfort eater and have ballooned in weight as a result. So having McDonalds would just push me further down a very slippery slope.

The KFC branches where I live are filled with moronic students who provide sh*t food. When done right it's gorgeous but it rarely is. The Burger King's are also terrible quality though they seem to have died out here.

McDonalds provide the superior quality for me. I go there for lunch every Monday and Friday; the quarter pounders never let me down.

I prefer Burger King over MacDonald's.

Agreed, I love Burger King.

The other week, I had two big mac meals and I just felt sick, but whenever I have two Triple cheeseburger meals, I feel fine because the flavor is just better and much more tasteful. I can even eat the two packets of chips and the drinks as well but i had problems drinking the last coke down at Mcdonalds.

I'm not fat btw
