CityPlay Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 Do you think we should be able to drive (busses, trains, metro, etc.) in Gta V ? Personally I'd really like that you could drive the trains and busses in San Andreas. I really loved to spend the freetime with driving busses, and trains in San Andreas! Not because I think it should be some kind of simulation game, but I just think it could be really fun and it will fit in perfectly in Los Santos, and as I know LA has a Metro system aswell, so why not? I thought it was really annoying that you couldn't drive the subway in Liberty City (I mean in the PS3 version) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
llpalm08 Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 I missed being able to drive the trains on GTAIV but I did like the busses on IV quite allot because you could ram through miles of traffic and not blow up because of the engine being at the back of the bus. In GTA IV, I should add, the "el" was there merely for the City appearance of NYC and as transportation, in my gameplay, I didn't have the notion of driving it around, it would have been fairly boring Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hardware probably can't handle dozens of passengers, but still have something. Then I'd imagine derailing the train at high speeds like in SA, and watching RAGE and Euphoria smash and thrash the carriages and passengers into a bloody mess. In RDR we could board, walk around inside, use weapons, traverse the roof & even jump on it from a horse. If natural progression follows, in V we should be able to do everything from RDR & drive it. I heard something about that Blizzard are actually using their fans ideas to create some of their W.O.W. games, I know it's differrent, but maybe there could be chance here as well. I want to sit there and just enjoy the train journey from inside - only way to do that in IV was bring up the phone's camera. When in a train you should get a first person view of the protag or, if your press SELECT/BACK, the view would change. Driving the trains? I probably won't use that too much (though it would make some good Machinimas) but why not, if it's possible. It's just another vehicle... The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
