Jet Blasts

Well, I was just bored and ended up watching some Jet Blast video's. If you don't know what it is, basically, if you walk or drive behind a plane while the plane's in full throttle, you will be blown away like a feather. This got me thinking, say if GTA V has Boeings, Fighter Jets and so on, will their be much realism of them?

 

I personally want it, I'd want to park my car behind a plane, and get in the plane, then full throttle it and look back seeing it fly off the runway. It's a pretty small idea but if you think about it, it's the little things that make GTA that little bit more fun and that little bit more explorable.

It'd be cool if you could swoop down over somebody and just send them flying across the screen. Kind of like hitting someone with the propeller in GTAIV.

They showed this on Top Gear. Park a Ford Mondeo behind a 747 and it will get launched in the air when the jets fire up. They should include this because it is realistic and fun - surely no argument?

I had always wanted to be able to be sucked in/blown away by the 747's engines in GTA:IV. This would be pretty fun, especially if you were in a police chase and managed to guide the police one of the engines.

Imagine Multiplayer . Someones chasing you trying to kill you and you quickly jump out and get in the plane and just about at the perfect time you hit full throttle and they fly away

I'll be honest, I really don't know, but you never know, maybe Rockstar will blow us away with GTAV. We just gotta sit tight.

C'mon Zee, you could have copy'n'pasted that onto any topic proposing a new feature. It's like you're not even trying anymore to be relevant. Your fall from such heights is really quite saddening to me. I just know you can do better, please don't let me down.

 

On topic, yeah, it sounds like a nice idea. It's one of those things you don't think about not being right when playing San An/IV, but I'm all for a little more realism that doesn't detract from gameplay.

Actually, I play GTA on consoles, but youre right. GTAIVPC was a terrible, sloppy, rushed (yet somehow delayed) piece of garbage. San Andreas on PC on the other handl with MTA and the fans literally inventing things to do instead of R*s nothingness, is great.

So much wrong what you are saying... Have you played GTAIV on PC? Seems like not, or you just hate it so muich you only found flaws in it. Really Zee, you are a f*cking pain in the ass, in every thread you moan about how sh*tty GTAIV was. Shut up on that subject please. That game wasnt bad at all...if anything, SA was bad. It was too rushed and thats why it looked and felt sh*t. Gameplay was crappy and flawed...there were some fun moments but overall, the missions were hard to do and faulty and story was stupid(no offense to fans). And by what you mean, compareing to GTAIV, that R* are too lazy to make things like jet blasts? Look at the f*cking physix in IV, you can do everything there...including jet blasts. Just look at the water for example, if you fly a copter above it, low.

Definitely would add some extra fun if they had this. Can try some kind of a motorcycle rodeo where you go up behind one of the jets while on a bike, then do a wheelie just as it blows you away and try to hold on as it flips like hell down the runway. lol

 

Can also see some fun getting a wanted level and then getting in a plane when it's still on the tarmac, then wait for the cop cars to get up behind you and activate the jets to blast them away.

 

This kind of thing has potential for some really fun gameplay.

I like the idea and voted yes. It wouldn't be hard for them to do. Just take the helicopters blade and turn it into an invisible jet exhaust.

Ahh yeah, behind the engine, get blown away. In front of the engine, get sucked in! And friendly fire-off games you would simply get sucked in, and then get spat out flying!! sounds like alot of fun. and make propeller planes the same as helis, and get cut up and launched when hit

Hell yes. Euphoria's perfect for doing this, and I'd love to be rag-dolled by a 747. Not only that haveing it blast a small car around would be cool for some stunt vids.

Zee is right and you are just talking for the sake of argument. You whine like a bitch about how Zee complains but in reality GTA IV only had a graphics engine that was much more realistic. There are still plenty of people that play SA without mods of any kind, proving that it was a superior game and IV will never be that even though I enjoyed it. You must be retarded.
