The Apocalypse must be a great workout programme because Joel still has the muscular body of his 30 year old self, 20 years later...

I've also just realised that the Infected are really just killer mushrooms. Couldn't the people have some type of weapon made out of penicillin to kill them?

I'm pretty sure he get more of a workout running from infected and doing runs with Tess then he did before the outbreak. The only issue I have with it is his diet, I doubt he eats enough to maintain those great forearms.

Although, it'd be pretty weird if he was a skinny guy, I think his character looks fine the way it is.

Exactly, judging by that: He proabably did do random exercising by the time the apocalypse occured. Eating? sh*t he barely gets enough food in his system, lol.

Does anyone here know about the bandwagon about horrible AI in Grounded mode in TLOU? I heard people complaining that the AI is down right horrible in the last of us, and grounded mode sucks ass.

Damn does are nice!

I can't believe that I already completed TLOU campaign so quickly this time, I completed it in 6 days. Does anyone recommend me playing through it for a third time on Hard or some other difficulty?

If you're into trophy collecting, then go right ahead. I also recommend the Multiplayer, too. Not entirely fleshed out, but still a fun time with randoms and I managed to get about 6 kills on my first match, so it contains some balance to it.

Judging by your avatar, you should get TLOU remastered (if you have an NG console)

Whats the difference between Grounded mode and just Hardcore? I'm currently playing through on Normal but plan on going back after with the plus game. But I'm thinking about doing it on the max difficulty, would be nice to know what the difference is. I take it, its just more enemies and less loot?

You dont have listen mode in grounded, no HUD (except for when you click on the D-pads) and the AI is of course harder and stronger. Nothing special.

I played the firefly lab chapter today on hard, it was totally easy. I completed it in 10 minutes. I reckon Hard Difficulty isn't as hard as it's said to be. I am still gunna replay the game on hard, then survivor, and last but not least Grounded. I love TLOU too much

Yup. Hard is really not that hard at all. I'm playing on Survivor and it feels like thats what Hard mode should have been.

Is survivor good? What's the differences? Is the HUD and Listen mode there?

I found survivor quite challenging sometimes on my first playthrough, I did many parts several times to save ammo. I wonder if the amount of stuff you get from enemies depends on the amount of amo you have.

One thing that bothered me about the game is that sometimes when you reload the last checkpoint you start earlier in the level than you would if you had just died. This can mean that you have replay parts that were very difficult.

Two parts were this was annoying was the sniper village and the firefly lab.

I realised last night that once I finish the story on any difficulty, I can then start fresh in a plus game. Probably play on Easy+ Anyway after that as long as you make sure you are fully stocked up on supplies before the end of each chapter just complete the game. Go back to chapter select and play from 11, then to 10, then to 9 etc until you get to the start. You end up starting each chapter with all of your loot and sh*t full and you can go crazy because the next chapter you'll start with fresh loot again. Its the easy way out if you want to complete the harder modes with no dramas. Probably what I'll do, then one day in the cold long winter nights I'll do it properly.

Oh I also actually played Left Behind DLC yesterday. I knew what was going to happen story wise so I was full of spoilers but to tell you the truth it didn't take away from the experience what so ever. Probably made it even more meaningful since I knew what was going to happen anyway. f*cking amazing.

Lol on my Normal playthrough, my shooting accuracy was 38%.On my survivor playthrough, my shooting accuracy was 81%...

The surburb sniper is probably the hardest part in the game on survivor. I had like 3 pistol ammo and nothing else. You really have to fight for every inch during that segment

I was always really good with my accuracy when using guns. I can consistently hit 75-85% of my shots. The key is to not get cute going for headshots, I just aim for the chest.

It was the same for me. I had no ammo left when reaching the fence at the end, threw a smoke bomb right there were the fence is leading back to the main street. Then I ran around the fence, then to the left of the house, killed ths last enemiy with a brick, and ran behind the house. It took me around twenty tries until I had found the perfect strategy.

I had no time to look for any pickups after the first house on the left side, where you can go upstairs.

I'm going through Grounded Mode at the moment. So far, I just passed

the hotel basement in the Pittsburgh chapter. I barley managed to get by; the bloater's spores killed me the moment I walked through the door, but luckily, the next checkpoint loaded when I restarted, so I'm glad I didn't have to go through that again. :D

That was a tense part, one of my favorites.
