Also I must say the moment where I got REALLY scared sh*tless was when you get trapped in the sewers with Sam and cornered by stalkers running at you full speed. Not even Silent Hill was that frightening.

 

You mean the Generator part after you fall from the Hotel elevator?

There's a level exactly like that in Uncharted 1, also made by Naughty Dog.

It's another level where the power goes out and you have to fight zombie-like guys and turn on a generator..

When I realise you have to turn the generator on that was my first thought, I kept thinking Nathan Drake would know what to do in this situation, I was scared sh*tless after it, but not until the tunnel of Infected in Salt Lake was even more scary

Really? For me the tunnel was a piece of cake, I mean when I first tried it I was being stealthy and I do remember a "holy sh*t I'm over my head" moment, but since by that point in the game you have the flamethrower it's a lot easier to just barbecue everyone with that. The generator scene is the only one that consistently scares the piss out of me lol, that and the one Promo mentioned. (The key to that one is lots of bombs and molotovs, BTW )

Oh, and about the Single Player DLC - it's not a rumor. It's been confirmed by Naughty Dog along with two other DLCs that will be for multiplayer. But I've read in some places that it will be a side-story - so it won't pick up after the end. Whether or not it's a side-story involving Joel, or focusing on some survivor (or bandit even) that we've never met is unknown.

Yeah I,m looking forward to the single player DLC too maybe it will pick up the story of Ish I would like to see what happened to him i think that has alot of potential, or it could be a flashback to when the outbreak first happened with joel and his brother and how they survived, maybe something about brokeback bills town either way it will be intresting to see what they do.

I too am hoping for something involving Ish. Though we already have a basic layout of what happens to him, so maybe not. It's possible Naughty Dog could create another survivor and small story for him. They were able to make such an interesting character and story just through notes, I'd love to see what they can do if they make a new survivor and give him a good story.

 

We'll just have to wait.

I was playing checkpoint and there was sniper sniping us, unfortunately I got sniped and spawned on the other side so I took this advantage to sneak up on the asshole so I went up the stares and saw him crouch walking threw the door and aim out of the window so I used the best technique to kill him, I flamed his ass with my trusty flamethrower

 

And then I started to snipe people.

So everytime I try to connect to MP the game gets stuck at the "Connecting" screen. I've tried deleting game data and the profile and re-downloading/installing three times, but no dice. Anyone encountered the problem or has a solution for it?

Do you ever get into the match lobby? I find that this game has trouble finding hosts.

Nope, never did. I get stuck in the "Connecting..." screen right after entering MP, the bar stops at about %80.

 

I guess I'll look for more solutions over the internet, if there are any.

@josephene123, Find every damn collectible, craft every item, listen to every optional convasation, open all shiv doors, upgrade Joels weapons and skills, listen to Ellie terrible jokes, complete the game on Survivor and Survivor+ (which is a giant pain in the ass), and play 40 very addictive hours of Multiplayer which consist of winning at both mode at least once, getting 40 clan members and complete 12 week each as a hunter and a Firefly.

 

I'm a gunna take a break from my PS3 until Saints Row 4 comes out (which is next week) and I won't play the TLoU in general until DLC comes out, I might play it on easy if I feel like it.

He not the person to be asking, it's best to ask someone who has either, played story more times than anyone should probably because he's in love with Ellie (Freak), Someone who has platinumed the game (me) or someone who ruined the story for him self and also tryed to ruin it for everyone and still claim he loves the game more than anything (omen)

 

So asking someone who played it once and hasn't even touched it one bit since playing isn't a very good idea

 

To answer your question yes it's a must buy for anyone who owns a PS3, no it's NOT like a movie so don't even believe anyone who said it is cause they haven't even played it.

IMO it is kind of movie like, but not totally.

And I have played it, and loved it, so your arguement is invalid, it's just a matter of opinion
