Hey freak, did any of my tips come in handy

I opened a shiv door and there was nothing in there. Thanks a lot.

I'm almost half way through and It's amazing how little I use my guns now, I avoid them at all costs.

I was in a desperate situation where I had two guys left, so I grabbed one of them as a human shield, shot the other guy in the head then accidentally instead of strangling him I shot his head. I wasted one bullet that could have been very useful elsewhere. SHIET.

Bricks really come in handy when there's at least one clicker and lots of runners because I can kill it with a brick and then just run and hide then strangle/punch the runners.

I also made sure to buy my 2nd holsters as early as possible and my first upgrade was for weapon sway. It's really all I need.

Level 52 in MP now. On my 5th Journey. Unlocked all customization items(Skull Mask ftw) and now back to just

plowing through teams getting wins and a good K/D lol. tounge.gif

The game really could have used a mirror mode feature like Uncharted 1 and 2 did.

It pretty much doubles the replay value. I played Uncharted 3 significantly less because of the lack of that feature also.

Just finished my Hunter's Journey... man now I fully grasp the depth of the multiplayer. At first (which lots of reviewers thought aswell) the MP side of the game looks bland and mediocre with not much depth.

But boy that's so wrong... once you start getting into it and exploring the gameplay and depth it gets better and better. Awesome experience though it seriously need better (so in a way more) maps, a couple of new gamemodes (only one of the two gamemodes is really great) and more weapons/things to use tounge.gif.

It flips the entire game world.

Hence, mirror mode. It's probably one of the easiest things to implement into any game.

Got this game yesterday, and also completed it yesterday, and all I can say is God, it's awesome, loved every second of it! inlove.gif

By the way, how long is The Last of Us supposed to be? According to Time Played in Statistics, I completed it in 9 hours, 47 minutes and 52 seconds, on Hard difficulty.

how the f*ck do you finish a game like this in a day?

The average completion time is around 14-18 hours btw.

Wow, I completed it quick then, haha.

I might play it again soon, on Survivor difficulty.

You rushed it dude, your not meant to rush a game like this, take your time and explore.

Did you mostly walk though most levels without even looking for anything.

Well, I don't believe I rushed it, I always looked for supplies and things like that, always crafted things and upgraded my weapons, when the opportunities came I talked to Ellie, for example right near the end where you're on top of a building, and you see the giraffes and then you can talk to Ellie and trigger a little cutscene showing the view.

Also, I was always very slow trying to keep quiet on some parts when you encounter the Clickers.

So no, I don't believe I rushed it.

So if you did what most people would do then how the hell did you finish it in 9 hours, my first Playthough was 13 hrs and 27 minutes.

This is around an hour less than the first time I beat it. It seems like most people are coming in around 10 hours from what I've seen.

And I also don't think you rushed it because my first two runs through the game were 10-11 hours and I was very thorough as far as searching through areas goes. Maybe we're just so awesome at it that it didn't take us as long biggrin.gif

LOL my first play through was 19 hours, I literally went and checked every corner possible and just ambled around looking at stuff. Loved it so much I'm playing again.

I'm scared to do my Survivor playthrough without hearing mode.

Well, when do you guys think first DLC is coming? I say late July or early August. I hope it's a multiplayer DLC (co-op anyone?).

Just follow my tips on the last page and you should be fine

And as I said on the last page as well, I smell a DLC announcement in the next 2 or 3 weeks

Is anyone else not getting any sound for the Ellie chopping up David's face cutscene when going to look at the cutscenes in the main menu

I've finished it twice and both times were 12 hours.

Not to be a dick... but then most probably first playthrough on easy or something and rushing everything.

I took my time, scavenged as much as possible and played it on hard and it took me indeed roughly 16 hours. Still need to replay it but the multiplayer keeps sucking me in.

I took as much time as possible as well. I actually skipped one whole day of playing, so it took me 3 days. But I beat The Last of Us in a little bit more than 8 hours of in-game time.

Yet again... easy difficulty I bet? My brother is doing the survivor difficulty now... I feel sorry for him. I started the intro on survivor and planned on playing it myself but I said he had to play it and he actually took over (the moment you actually started to play as Joel he got his hands on it AND he was watching so he can follow perfectly).

He's instantly hooked. And my brother is not really the 'gamer gamer' type smile.gif. (though... he did like everything that was possible to do and collect... even ultra rare items and such from FO3/NV and he did a one massive playthrough through the entirety of Skyrim + dlc. And also Dues Ex: HR).

Grand Theft Savage

I actually beat it on Normal. I haven't tried Easy and don't plan on it. I'm playing on Hard now.

But Survivor is pretty f*cking hard according to a lot of others. I don't think I'm even going to touch that mode any time soon.

I thought survivor mode was going to be a giant f*cking pain but it is actually an awesome new experience in the way you play.

To all the people who say Survivor mode is terribly hard, your couldn't be anymore wrong, yes ammo and supplies are extremely scares, but it's the intensity that make it better than other difficulties, I for one never play on difficulties higher than normal so that made this special in a way.

So I say try survivor and S+ and you will have one hell of a time, I did and all I can say is its worth the try.

No sound at all? Because there's a part of that scene where the sound cuts out on purpose. I have had the audio go out at certain points though but never anything too bad.

I don't think that's necessarily true. I've been at 10-11 the first two times and am on pace for a little longer than that on my hard play through. I haven't rushed and have searched pretty damn thoroughly both times trying not to miss anything.
