Man the pressure is unbearable!!!

 

Week 12, Day 5, Day 2/3 of my Hunter's mission and I'm on 15/21 marked enemies. Going into the last day of the mission and I have 100% of my population at risk and I need 6 marks to complete the journey.

 

I've had to take a break because I know there's a couple of guys in the rotation that have covert training. They were on the opposition on day 1 and I only managed 4 marks. Luckily they were on my side on day 2 and I managed to get my score up to 15. I just can't risk going up against them again, so I'm going to give it an hour or so.

 

I've never felt this way going into a multiplayer match before. It's unbelievable! 

with 15/21 you're no longer at 100% risk.. probably 40% I'd say.. You'll be fine unless you care about the customization unlocks.

21 was the first tier. It was 21 - 28 - 35 which amazingly I got on the university map. I switched off the booster that kept markers on for three seconds longer, and managed to get chains of marks from the same players during stand-offs

Oh, right, I didn't account for the possibility of higher-tier missions.

 

Congrats. I finished my 24th week just yesterday and unlocked the Skull Mask with it.. I'm so done with this survivor clan sh*t, now it's all playing for fun.

Anyone know what exactly causes you to rank up in multiplayer? At first I thought it was every time you completed a mission, you gain a level, but then I noticed I wasn't gaining a level after every mission. I then thought maybe it was every time you complete a week, but that didn't remain consistent either.

Your rank, the number next to your name, reflects the number of weeks you've passed. It does, however, often update before or after you actually complete a week, for some reason.

If you join a match which has already started, it won't be counted as a day but your progress in missions will be. This happened to me when I took that break. I joined a match in the last round and got 3 marks and I was like, "Noooo!" because it left me on 18/21 which would have meant losing my entire population. Then the next round started and and it was day 3/3.

 

The number next to your name is how many weeks total you have passed, and the dot represents a successful 12 week journey. I'm not sure what the crossed lines represent though. I'm on 17 with a dot.

Also have anyone seen Ellie wear the jumpsuit, I'm not gunna spoil it for anyone but when you see the jumpsuit you can unlock for Ellie to wear you will laugh your ass off, I know I did

You know you've played to much of TLoU when you've gotten every single player trophy.

 

Yes that means I've played Survivor mode twice, listen to Ellie's terrible jokes and found every god damn Collectable.

 

Now on to get The two Journey multiplayer trophies and I've platinumed it.

I fell like I'm honoured to be one of those 3 million people's, I'm probably the first person to get the game in Australia, all I can say is it was worth getting up at 6 just to get the game

Hey Freako, you said in one of your videos that your not looking forward to Survivor mode

 

Let me just give you some advise towards it

 

1) Save your ammo, don't bother getting into a huge fire fight stealth your way to the exit and bail

2) Save your shivs for shiv doors, you see a Clicker just Ignor it

3) Safes are your friend

4) Ellie may be a pain in the ass at times but if your low on health or ammo she'll give you some

5) Not having listen mode may not be as a pain in the ass but when fighting David it is, just step on some plates and lure him to your position and hide

6) If you see any supplies take them and cherish them, you won't be seeing another rag or bottle of alcohol for a while.

 

To anyone wanting to use these tips, go ahead and use them.

I'm only up to getting Ellie currently. I have a feeling I ain't seen nothin' yet so those tips will help.

Christ almighty the online in this game is fun. I just selected a challenge where I needed 15 downs in 3 days and got all of 15 exactly on day 1. I find myself to be surprisingly good at the MP so far.
