The Last of Us

I'm still running the weight of that ending through my head. Every time I think about it too much I get choked up.

 

They've made something truly special.

Yes they have, I completed the game just minutes ago at three thirty in the damn morning telling myself I would go to bed right after Ellie Meets David, but I just couldn't stop playing.

 

The pacing, the gameplay, the soundtrack - everything about this game is absolutely brilliant. Nothing however comes as close to perfection as that ending, I too can't get the rush of it out of my head. I never really thought the Uncharted series was anything too special, but this, this is a freaking (pun oh so intended) masterpiece.

I didn't play it yesterday at all so I thought I'd make it up by playing for a couple of hours I got to Bill's town and yeah that bloater thing was f*cking nuts .

 

I know graphics aren't everything, but damn. You almost mistake this game for real life in cutscenes. It's such a beautiful game artistically.

It's glitched for a few players. Luckily it worked for me.

 

Btw, it's hard not to open those spoiler tags... I'm currently in the mission that they meet Henry and his bro.

It was sold out EVERYWHERE yesterday, I'm getting it today though because it's in stock at Gamestop . Just by reading the comments, I can tell this is a very emotionally gripping game, I haven't really played one of these since RDR, so I'm excited.

I finally played, and honestly I got bored after a while. It just didn't live up to it's hype... I don't know, I'm a little tired right now even after drinking one and a half cans of monster. I'll try again tomorrow.

The Factions Mode is difficult as sh*t. You're teammates' mistakes will get you killed easily, and going off alone is even harder (for me, at least). And I love how it isn't just a stealth/action kind of game... It's straight up survival. I haven't even finished the story and I give this a 8.8/10.

Yeah dude trust me, around the 3rd or 4th hour you'll get addicted, takes a while

Without a doubt, not to mention there's barely any great games coming out in 2013 which makes this game even easier to run against V for GOTY

Played the intro.... I cried. I'll continue at night 'cause it's way to hot in the day to play.

 

Still... best f*cking intro to a post apocalyptic/zombie game ever. It's where pretty much all the rest fail... they did it perfectly.

Everything about this game was so perfect. The characters, the ending and everything leading up to the ending. So many unexpected events. Joel is a goddamn badass. The part where he shoots the soldier in the groin while interrogating him is so cruel, unexpected and awesome. You're going to die either way asshole. 2 bullets to the groin will just make you talk faster and make my job easier.

 

Also, i never thought i'd get so connected to the characters. Feels were had left and right.

thing is had this game got average reviews I'd be giving high 9

guess that is just the way it is with things getting hyped up.

 

I finished the game last night and I should jsut tell you that Joel died a lot, because the health bar went empty or a clicker got me (so yeah I mean in gameplay bitches)

but seriously great game, this is an actual spoiler-ish thing. too bad it got all shooty shooty at the very end, i was hoping it would not descend into that

 

9.0/10 in my book, best new IP in a long while for me and best game this year thus far, but we got 2 really hot-looking games coming up.

So when I finished this my Brain was like holy crap what the hell just happen with you racing to the surgery to save Ellie and the ending where Joel lies right to her face and I kept sh*tting my pants when you get to the Tunnel full of Infected, I almost had a heart attack then

 

And With Joal getting the "Lara Croft treatment" was intense and scary

 

No game has made me feel different emotions except for this and this SHOULD get game of the year, I don't think GTA V can beat this game
