He gets that odd bit of limelight, but it seems only to be when he collaborates with someone, such as: For me, it was one of his mixtapes that grabbed me, not that Day N Night track, as it was most people I knew. It's a rather 'dark' album, but it just hooks you instantly. Some of my favourite tracks off of the top of my head: ^Personally, such a powerful track, in terms of both lyrics, and the music itself. ^Admit, like this for the sample from Outkast. Anyway, he's not as bothersome as some artists in the modern music racket. Can't say I like all his stuff though. Rokas. Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 He has style. I love the use of samples in his songs. Although he can't beat Kanye, Kanye must have deepest samples. But I must admit, I usually like sampled songs better. Especially Andre's Pink & Blue. I really loved Pursuit of Happiness and Make Her Say, but then I tried Man on the Moon II, and the first track for me to hear was now it's my favourite song by him. Cudi's quite unique, he has his own style that he forms by bending various styles and sounds together, from rap to rock and everything in between.
