Kweckzilber
There is a program called testdisk. Get it here. Try if you can recover your disk volumes that way. It may seem pretty advanced, but it is really simple. Any queries, ask away. Also make sure your Startup is clean by using msconfig. Do not change anything, just look what all runs at system start and post the list here. That may be an HTML script, but AVs usually sort them out, so no worries. Kweckzilber
PrtScrn, paste, save and post the link to the image here. You can use MSPaint and imgur for that purpose.

Kweckzilber
I said link. Never mind. Use Diagnostic Startup from MSConfig's General tab, and try rebooting. The Logitech service (or what calls itself so) is a virus of sorts.

Kweckzilber
Run Folder Options, enable Show Hidden Files and Folders, and disable Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) and confirm. Now search and delete KHALMNPR.exe. One more thing: Run regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and get a screenshot (with regedit maximized). Also get a screenshot from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run . These are startup registry entries.

Fozzy Fozborne
I would tell you do download the Kapersky Rescue Disk, burn it, then boot from it. This allows you to remove viruses and files out of Windows so it doesn't repopulate the files. I've done this on over a dozen severely infected machines (one with over 100 malicious pieces of software) and they've all worked perfectly since. As always, YMMV. Stinky12
KHALMNPR.exe. is a service used for Logitech products. I have that service too, so it's not a infection. Let's see where is your 2nd hard disk. Go into disk management and post a screenshot of that. Wolf68k
This is getting to a point where you really need to be in IM or IRC of some kind to speed things up. Or better still something like TeamSpeak
Slamman
Porn, that i'll do it to ya! I use three sites I can trust, that's about it! hahaha I use Avira and have not had a problem, and I just scanned. Try some other free scanning tools, but I'd for sure try PrevX's CSI since it will look for rootkits and normally they charge, you get one free cleaning per computer/install. then you pay for anything additional. Scan the right drive, or, if you can't see it, try connecting the afflicted drive to a known working system (USB so it will be sighted when you attach it.... hopefully

Exxon
I have had something like this a while ago, all the folders in Program Files were locked and I couldn't open it. All my games seemed to be gone and I even had folders I had never seen before. What I did was System Restore to a week ago, after that everything worked fine. I had all my folders and things back as how it was
Waste
Oh, wow. The first guy there trying to help you, don't listen to him. Leave KLHMNPR.EXE alone. It's the Logitech peripheral driver. Second off, one thing you can do is restart into safe mode with networking (Spam the F8 key restarting your PC.) and run a web scan. (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/) Third, go into your BIOS options and see if both hard drives are showing up. (This can also be checked from the POST screen if you don't have a logo showing instead. BIOS options can be accessed by watching right when the computer starts up and pressing the according key to enter setup. DO NOT CHANGE ANY OPTIONS HERE.) If it is showing up on POST and/or the BIOS then it's a software related issue.

Wolf68k
For the second HDD issue. Let's go back to basics, which in this case is is BIOS seeing the drive? Restart your system and press whatever key to go into the BIOS, usually it's the DEL (delete) key but read the first screen that shows up and it'll tell you how to enter the BIOS or setup (same thing) Is the drive listed there? If yes, that's good. If no, then that might be where the problem is. Next try booting into SafeMode to see if the OS sees the drive there. If so then there is something nasty running startup hiding the 2nd drive. If no, well that still doesn't rule out the nasty bug hiding it. Try booting from a bootable OS, like a LiveCD of Ubuntu or Knoppix or even the Windows 7 DVD. Any of these should show all of the drives without issue as long as something isn't wrong with the mobo or the drive itself.
Stinky12
1. Your AVG is outdated, current version is 2012 2. From that pic, your 2nd HDD is missing, either it's dead or something else due to the power failure while your scanning for viruses. 3. Aside from checking the bios as mentioned by Wolf68k, you may also want to change the SATA data and power cables, maybe it's no good or something. Also plug into another SATA port if there is one available.
Slamman
Don't be afraid to try multiple tools, and remember, scan when you think you've gone too long, if you manually do it, I do actually, but I update almost every day, at least a few times a week, mid week and weekend, Make sure you've got your PROTECTION before you jump in this pool
danjodan
This is so bizzare Now since I switched on my PC today its back to its original state, Its running fast and no trace of virus's any more.
Slamman
Earlier, we mentioned Malware that propagates, that's when you reboot and it creates more problems, and a boot disc like Wolf mentioned takes care of issues where the HDD boot sectors could be infected, Malware mucks up Windows' Registry, which is where you want things working without interference (usually never edit or change the Registry on your own, but Malware can try and mess things up for you!)
