Jewstinian Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 • Something I've always loved about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was the roleplaying capabilities with all the features. (Buying houses, making large, interactive towns.) So, I'm pretty sure most of you had heard of SA:MP. If not, here is a link. It is basically a server based Multiplayer made for San Andreas. Even though we can basically guarantee there will be multiplayer for GTA V, I have always loved that idea of making that dedicated server and basically roleplaying (i.e. Los Santos Roleplay.) So my question is to you, would you like the idea of a mod, such as SA:MP with dedicated servers, implemented into GTA V? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Off topic: What role play servers do you play on lol? I have an account on LSRP ("Brice Collins"), but I haven't logged on in ages. I usually play on NGRP (Next Generation Role Play), but I only log in maybe once a week. I like the fact that LSRP has a role play test that you need to pass in order to be allowed to play on the server, NGRP's more of a "free roam" type of server. I don't really dig the whole RPing thing in GTA but if other people want a game mode like that then why not. It would be a smart business decision, especially if they want to completely "crush" Saints Row the Third (my opinion; not trying to start something). Have it so like in SA:MP only people near you can hear you on the mic (or in SA:MP's case see your typed Message.) to add realism. Everytime I by accident enter in one, and ten seconds later comes that "nice patronizing admin" with the "Welcome to the RP servers, have you ever played an RP game before? Now, I know you like your nickname, but how about choosing some real name, you know, for you real character!" Man, this sh*t almost makes me cry. Make believe inside games is sort of pushing for me. It would be such a smart decision since RPing in IV was sort of hard to manage. Since I am a console player i don't have access to the wonderful SA:MP. But god i do love it.
