loony979 Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 Ok guys let me say this : & Welcome to my topic & i hope you all had fun.! 1 Was a great EVENT to watch you all play & having fun . 2 iT WAS SUCH A Disappointment not being able to play ,due to lack of support from Social Club for most of us ,As i noticed this wasnt just me... I was looking forward to joining in the even for over 2 months now,My game tag is LOONY979 . I asked to join online for over 2 hrs & they asked me in [ Rockstar games Social club Mulitplayer Site ] Quote: Loony979 what is your gametag ? i said LOONY979 ,they added me as friend ,for the remainder of the EVENT i constantly asked then to invite me into the game EVENT with no response ...No invite.Even a few Members were even asking & saying in chat LOONY979 has been asking for over an hr now get him in.! [an IWI player said] Also they get us to do this : -------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO FIND US Everything begins in GTA Race in Grand Theft Auto IV. It's optional but always good to get a Grand Theft Auto party going in Party Mode with some friends. Once you're ready and the event has begun, start up GTA Race. Rockstar players will be scattered through a number of different lobbies to allow for the maximum amount of people to play on each day. As always, stay up to date on which modes we're in during the event by following the chat on the Social Club Multiplayer Event page. SPECTATE AND CHAT Can't reach a gaming PC during our play time? You can still follow everything at the Social Club Multiplayer Event page with the live streaming broadcast. We'll also have the chat box running during the event for those that want to discuss the action with fellow fans. NEED A PARTNER? Hit up the chatbox during the event or just post your Gamertag in the Comments section below. Someone will pick ya up. ABOUT PARTY MODE Party Mode is an easy way to get your group together and find matches. Here are the 3 quick and easy steps to get you up and running: To get started, fire up the in-game mobile phone by pressing "Up" on the D-pad. Navigate to Party Mode. From here, open up your phone again and select the Friends option to invite your friends (you need at least one more friend to play with Rockstar). Once your team is ready to roll and the event has begun, open up the in-game phone again and select GTA Race. --------------------------------------------- Why not make it more simple for us ,like what we do to get a game going just create game .? that way it will be less problems & also i was only givin 1 gametag from Social club [ GWRockstar1 ] thats ok tho again nothing came from it.! I do love the game very much but was quite upset by the way things were done,for the EVENT .... If this TOPIC gets a [LOCK] then thats fine its cool with me i just want to be heard .P.S. SARDYNA108 Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 So how this event looked like for me: GwRockstar1 started with Party Mode in IV, I was invited to this by a friend than we played some GTA Races, after it GwRockstar1 joined random Cops 'n Crooks server, I didnt get there becouse it was full really quickly so I joined to GwRockstar4 for some public deathmatches and Races after it GwRockstar1 created some public Deathmatches and Races and also some by Party Mode, I was most of time with him. After about 2 hours GwRockstar1 went to TBoGT for some public GTA Races and than he created Party Mode, I was invited there by a friend, we played some Races and Deathmatches, after it he created public Deathmatch - the last one in event. GwRockstar2 and 3 spend most time in TBoGT Deathmatches and Team Deathmatches, at the end GwRockstar 3 went to IV for some public deathmatches. The event was pretty good, there wasnt many cheaters like in previous 2 events but there was 1 thing that really disappointed me - they didnt play TLaD at all! I love TLaD there are great modes like Witness Protection or Lone Wolf Biker but they played only Deathmatches and Races almost whole event Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So did you try to join with another person in party mode like it said? No idea why they do it this way, but that's how all these events go. Usually either me or my friend could get us into a lobby. Maybe it's because it's 2 people looking instead of only 1. I always found them from the custom menu, not from invites. Then once you get into 1 of them, you could always find that person from Rockstar from the recent players list. I didn't do this one, but I did the others. It is very silly how they Implement it. & i couldnt find any of em in lobbys ... But hey its always RDR on X-Box ....so im not fussed....i dont have an X-Box,nor a PS3 ..... So RDR for me is hmmm id like to play it tho its never going to come to pc.... Lost game in the ages im afraid to say. All is good.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
