Besides in the trailer, you can see the "old" guy during the robbery, he doesn't seem slow when he kicks the door. Now about the bicycles, it's a kid's vehicle, so no matter if the protag is 20 or 40 he'll still look stupid on it. And who wants to ride bicycles (with no radio so no music) when you have motorbikes available in the game that are faster, more enjoyable to drive and allow you to listen to some music? Good thing San Andreas only made us ride bikes twice in the whole storyline. And if you remember some of the movies you've watched or games you've played, you'll find that middle aged men usually make good main characters in action movies/games, because having been through a lot in the crime business, they tend to have less remorse and be very violent when in action. But in GTA, you have access to every vehicle you want. So I ask again : who wants to drive a bicycle when they can have a motorbike which is faster, more enjoyable to drive, looks better and even more importantly has a radio that allows you to listen to the soundtrack which is always awesome in GTA? Fortunaltely in San Andreas, after the second mission of the game, you are no longer required to drive bicycles. I hope they keep it that way in V. I agree with this brother, Ned Luke looks way younger than 53. He has taken a very good care of himself, I don't think his character will be anything more than 40yo. I'm over 40 and I happened to grow up loving BMX, if you're like me, this was before GTA and we still have a fondness for BMX, Live to Ride, Ride to Live!!
